"Why are people treating us like this? " One bag lady mutter swatting at a fly she's drawn, clueless to how vile she smells and appears

"I don't know," Another homeless woman, or at least she looks homeless, she looks ready to cry "Don't they know who we are?"

"My hair stylist had me leave or she said she'd call the cops!" the last woman with terrible grooming "Said they don't deal with panhandlers..."

"I don't know, okay?I don't know... " The first lady bum says "Our cell phones are missing, our credit cards aren't working.. and no one.. this is madneess"

"No madness is that damn song? Can't you hear it?" The second one says "It can't be just me?"

"Ohh god I thought I was hallicinating... it just keeps repeating on an endless loop"

"And it won't stop!"

It does stop, when they consider maybe treating folks less educated, less fortunate than themselves with a little kindness, it eases or stops, but they're hard learners these three, so over and over again, they, and only they hear.... a certain country song over and over again

And the women get called NUTS when they talk about hearing things... strangers walk by , some look at them with pity and throew them dollar bills and leave. One homeless man offers them a drink, seeing a peer. They scoot away from him with fear and the music resumes

And on a roof of a building, RIkki and Eden fistbump

Eden looks at Rikki "Think country music on repeat was a bit war crimey?"

Rikki shrugs "I've never respected copy rights.... or copy wrongs for that matter. C'mon, we've protected those clumsy blue oafs..AGAIN"

And off they return to Goldfinch
