Tiffany eats with Tove, the two talking

"So.. tell me again why the men don't have to carry the kid in THEIR uterus?" Tiffany eyes her glass of water which refuses, RUDELY, to turn into wine

Tove pats her hand on the other woman sympathetically "Look at it this way, you have a head start. Wish I could have sped up CJ's pregnancy, though he was worth it"

"If CJ is the template for infant size, I'm going going to have Dr. Alexander cut open this Gordian knot" The thane pats her belly

"I'm sure you'll be fine," Tove assures her, "CJ is large for his age but troll blood can do that. Your baby will much more reasonably sized... "

"Yes, because my husband is a pygmy" Tiffany nods

Tove laughs, "Well, don't JINX it"

"How's your dainty litttle daughter?" Tiff asks

"Restless, I think" Tove admits "She doesn't say it, but all the other wilders rushing about to Goldfinch has her feeling anxious. I don't knnow what to do about it"

Tiffany raises a brow "Change bites." Perhaps more than one meaning

"I think she'd agree" A sigh from the frustrated troll mother "But I can't.. protect her from Change. I ... I try to tell her it will be well but no matter what I say it seems to be I get at best a placating nod and she tries to suffer silently instead. I .. was hoping she wouldn't hit that 'adults don't know annything' age for another year or three."

"It's just you, you're her mom, you'e special, OHTER Adults she mgiht listen to" Tiff smiles

"Gee, thanks" Tove huffs "Yes, she might listen to Kerri"
