Zane looks at Sylvi "Take the word of tthis wizard, it's solid, it's true " A look "You're a bit drained. Beter rest here tonight, freeholder."

As he says it, Sylvi feels it, well, she felt it before but she's MORE aware nnow

She nods, her shoulders sagging a bit. "Yeah, I figured I would anyway. Need to keep it safe, this first night. Tomorrow, we work out more details..." she gestures vaguely to include the rest of those celebrating. Then she gets surprised by a yawn she can't stifle.

"I'm okay!" she says quickly with a laugh.

Colton takes herr hand "Zane, thanks for veiling me, it was nice to surprise her"

"Is that how you did it? You SNEAKS!"

Zane smirks

She gives Colton a kiss for that surprise, though.

“Tomorrow will be soon enough to work out details. Like, no man is an island. Won’t you need some sort of entourage?” Piper pipes in, noticing how drained Sylvi looks.

"I'm good, really! But I'll be here, for sure. And let's not start talking about stuff like entourage...it's about what the balefire needs, not me."

Dagmar finds Eden actually near her and smiling "Saw the way you were ready to flee in case the stairs got attacked. Thanks, brute squads are kind of comfortin"

"Trolls protect. And.. like, it's nice to know I can do something useful here..." Dang Pooka.

“Then the BALEFIRE will need an entourage.” Piper grins, and gives her a thumbs up, and offers a drink.

"Now, THAT I can get behind," Sylvi agrees and gratefully accepts the beer, taking a drink.

Eden tilts her head and looks at Dagmar"You didn't give to the fire, you've beenn chuckling as your friends fall into your trap. "A breath "it's not about use, it's about us, all of us" A pause "Maybe not Jordan"

"No, probably good for Jordan."

"Parseltongue' She smiles

Lucia hugs Sylvi "HEy girl, is tthis to say Ashley will NOT be Cheeer captain ?"

Syvli gets to her feet. "Guys, I need to talk to Dagmar for a moment. Be right back."

Oh, surprise hug from Lucia, which she returns!

Then a laugh. "No, she will NOT, not if I have anything to say about it!"

And the boggan lets her go " Go talk to Daggs"

"Thanks," she says with a smile, then continues to where Dagmar stands over in the corner talking to Eden.

Eden turns and sees Sylvi "Mayor" And mimes tipping a hat and leaves them be

Sylvi rolls her eyes good-naturedly at Eden. Then she turns to Dagmar. "Hey."

"Congrats, Sylvi. Uh. I figure, I'll guard the stairs tonight? It looks like they're the only proper entrance, so pretty defensible if any bogies take notice of the new fire.."

Sylvi looks relieved. "That would mean a lot, if you would. There is a basement door on this level, but it's pretty well secured. More ways in from upstairs." A pause. "Are you okay with...all this? I know it's different...."

She shrugs. "It's a cool place. It's gonna be nice, for everybody... and, like... like, you are a good leader..."

She blushes. "I just...it just felt like it needed doing, when the Chieftain told me. But it's going to need a lot of support."

"Yeah..." She chews on her lip.

"I'm really glad you stayed. And...I didn't want you to feel pressured to put your glamour in...but I really like the way you did." TRUTH.

"It's still part of Rivervale." Perhaps telling both SYlvi and herself that.

"Exactly." She nods. "Like...the other side of Rivervale, but still Rivervale."

"Yeah. Where, like, people wanna be."

Folks are going around, checking out THEIR hold, excied. Some want to party, some wantt to make music, but everyone seems to be delighted. It's not the biggest hold, but it's theirs

"Where they don't feel like they have to be perfect. At least...I hope that's what it's going to be."

Another surprise yawn catches Sylvi unawares.

"Darn it. Scuse me."

"Yeah - so, go dream on it, Freeholder. Let the fire get to know you. I got your back."

She gives a sheepish grin. "I feel lame bailing out on the party so early." But she does cast a longing look at the balefire and the pile of throw pillows nearby.

"Whatever. You ain't gotta answer to their expectations - right?"

Piper trots over, and asks Sylvi, “Hey girl - You want the party to roll on elsewhere? You look like you could use some alone time with your new buddy.” Nodding towards the Bale.

Another grin, and she offers Dagmar a fistbump. "You rock."

Then to Piper, "Hell no, I want to hear it all as I'm drifting off! Keep it going!"

She GRINS. “I was hoping you’d say that!”

A smile back. "I thought you might be."

Colton takes his girlfriend's hands and he nods to tthe pillows

A wink. “So what if I can’t do subtle?” And she calls over to Zane, “Hey cuz! Save me a cup!” Trotting that way to give Colton and Sylvi their time.

She was just about to head over to him, so she's happy to have him lead her that way.

"So...this worked okay," she says.
