"True. I wonder how far back it goes? The notes I read only went up to trying for a year, but I think maybe with unleashing, or with a really involved bunk, you might get further." He muses on this. "Speculation only though."

"Well you know the dangers of Unleashing with any cantrip I'm sure" A brow of concern, then "But perhaps. You know, there are rumors of a Nocker with a time machine... wonder if she's one of the other commoners who knows about this stuff. What was her name?" the last to himself

"I don't know, if there was one, someone would have known about her. Unless she travels back in time to murder anyone who knows about her?" He seems rathr fond of this idea.

A brow "Well, if you fade away I'll try to remmeber you. Please do the same for me" a chuckle at the morbid nature of the kid, but yes it IS interesting "Could be just one of those stories"

"Write it into one of those books you publish. If you vanish suddenly, I'll know you were right."

"Okay, but I'm not leaving you in my will which may unwrite itself anyway" A sip of his tea "We joke, but this high level Chornos stuff, and talking of Unleashing really is scary. In theory you MIGHT be able to knock someone into the middle of next week.. literally"

"I know you would like to say you're Lex Luthor, or Loki, or maybe Movie TV Zemo... maybe you were before, but you should be told, the way you're talking? That's not the bad guy, that's Batman"

"Keep talking like that, you're going on my list." He scowls, but the slight flush on his greyish cheeks might bely his refusal.

"Don't blame me, I'm giving credit to Dagmar on this one, but mums the word on my end. Dagmar's Gwydion, and they can be quietly smug at the best of times" Sympathetic sips

"Ugh, it's the worst. When they are right, and they know they're right, and they know YOU know they are right?""

"Yeah, you cann't flat out lie, and unless they're very dumb, and none of them we know are, they can tell when you're just trying to loophole it. You start that up, and they just get that 'sad look' more and more.. like 'tisk tisk.. they had thought better of you than this'" a groan

"It's a good thing they have thinkers to handle things what need to get done. Once you know how to explain things right. 'It's taken care of', is a great one. Truthful and to the point. And a good Gwyd knows when to stop asking questions they won't like the answers to."

"Give the Chieftain credit, she's gotten good at that" A nod "keeps us just honest enough but doesn't get in her own way about it. I remember a time she was much less flexible about it"

"Sounds rough." He finishes his iced tea. "Thanks, Vali. I think with your help, I can finally crack this. It's been bothering me for months. And I know stuff takes time, but I just couldn't even get started...."

"Oh, I respect her, she's always been a top notch leader...don't you mind me. I was influenced by Eiluned at a young impressionable age. " He nods to Symon "And sounds like you were pretty close, just a bit of a snag. Seriously, learning all you have on just a book? Impressive. Take it easy, Symon, and thanks for telling me"

He nods, and slides the book back into a pocket. "Same time next weekend? French tutoring? My dad wouldn't believe me if I said it was math."

"You're on" A nod

And off Symon goes.. a dog walks in as he goes out. Tiffany on four legs

He nods to her as he heads out, and holds the door, closing it after she goes through. "Weird.." He thinks... and heads home.
