"Susan, dear, what's going on here?" he limps forward toward the girl, hands in his pockets.

Confusion, and then... the girl seems to focus enough to think. While one of her arms is in the grip of one of the guys and the other is hovering over her, she goes "Grandpa Bernie! Hey.. uhm... can we go home?"

"Grandpa?" One of the guys looks over at Bill in confusion

"Nah, 'grandpa' we're having a PRIVATE moment" the other says

"Home?" he checks his jacket pockets, slowly and arthritically "Oh my...." he quavers "..... I can't seem to find my keys...." as he totters closer "Susan, do you know where my keys are?"

The other boy, the one less confused and more adversarial, moves to EBG and puts a hand on his chest "Turn around and GO old man"

"Don't hurt him!" 'Susan' says

And that's when the other boy gets stabbed in the gut.

In a living testament to youth and skill will not defeat old age and treachery, the 'other boy' falls back, bleeding horribly (Gut wounds will do that) and cries out in a scream "Christ, he cut me, he really cut me!"

The first guy gasps and starts to look for a weapon, a lead pipe, anything, only to hear a click to his side ,and see CC holding a gun to his head . To him, it's just a Milfy older lady in plain clothes.. .with a GUN!

Grandpa beckons Susan to him.

"Did you ever dance with the devil in the pale moon light?" CC grins ala Jack Nicholson

Susan races behind the boggan as if for protection

And the boggan moves away with Susan, leaving the boys to a REALLY BAD night, trusting CC to join them shortly.

Which she does. A bit of glamour trailing her...

The girl clings to EBG's side like a tick

The trio move along smartly for a moment and it can't escape notice the old man is much more spry than he let on.

Once they are a decent distance away, Grandpa looks for a coffee shop or somewhere to sit for a moment.

"Thank you thank you thank you..." The teenager is saying

"Easy hon, it's all right" CC assures 'Susan'

They do find a coffee shop, one named Bean there, Done that

At this point, Grandpa's not picky.

"Everyone, sit, let me get us some water.... or tea? Coffee?"

"Coffee please," The girrl says "Strong strong coffee"

CC is surprised by that, then nods to Emerson "Coffee all around?" Letting him choose his own. He knnows her preferrred blend

He nods and bustles off, knowing CCis more than capable of getting Susan (or whatever her name is) calm and talking.

The guy working this shift looks up and slaps on an exaggerrated smile "Welcome to Bean there, Done that, can I interest you in an accompanying coffee cake with your order?"

"Three, yes, and three coffees." he orders for the ladies (and his own) preferrences.

"Right away, Sir." Fortunately it is not too busy, and he gets coffee and cakes rather promptly with good service

William tips well and takes the tray out to serve the ladies.

And sure enouggh, CC has calmed the girl afte even a brief talk

He serves amd takes a seat to listen.

"Darling, this is Audrey Plum" CC explains as she gestures to 'Susan'

"Susan's not a bad name though" Audrey says "Confused those assholes." A slow breath "I can't believe you..." She lowers her voice 'Stabbed that guy"

"What's that? You must be mistaken, my dear." with a twinkle.

A slightly confused look, then "oh..." then Audrey asks "What if he dies?"

CC shrugs "We'll pretend to feel bad about it?"

"I'm sure there's a lesson to be learned there for them."

Audrey looks torn between delight the guy got knnifed and worry and then guilt about the delight, and lingering anger at what nearly happened "I guess he'll get to a hospital.. Maybe he'll think twice before he tries that with another woman"

"One can only hope." Grandpa pushes a slice of cake to her. "How did you come to be in their company, my dear?"

"There was this rave, kind of impromtu" A blush "Wee bit illegal? Anyway, I was so tired of being cooped up, when I heard about it, I wanted to ggo, and it was really cool. The DJ was decent, right? Anyway I talked abou what a fan I was of one of the musicians on the list while dancing wiht one of the guys and he said..." Embarrassed "that he was that's guys cousin. I said no way, he said yeah..and if I wanted too see proof follow him."

CC gives look that translaates to 'poor wee lamb' "Honey, there are some good men out there, those two weren't it , obviously, but even the good ones will fake 'knowing a celebrrity' if it means they can impress"

"A sad failing of the sex." Grandpa agrees.

"I know.. now" Audrey agrees

He makes sure Callidora has a cake too.

She dines on hers, yet

yes.

"You are unharmed?" he asks delicately.

"Bruise on my arm wherre he gripped me" She admits

He tuts and rises to go back in and get a little bag of ice.
