"Sluagh can talk to ghosts."

"Oh! What about stuff, though? Maybe Whispering some of Dahlia's stuff?"

"Or yeah, ghosts!"

"Ohhhh...wow, if Dahlia's ghost is there...." Wide eyes.

"Shit."

"Ghosts?" A stunned look "No.. surely not"

"Why not? I mean...they are a thing."

"A spooky thing."

"Now, I mean, if Dahlia was really insane, then her ghost will be insane-er, maybe. But still...it's a place to start?"

"Great. Here I am, mosttly trained in Soveriegn"

Sylvi gives Nadeen a look. "You know who could probably help."

"Magic is beyond me. I can willow whisper, kinda, but... I haven't tried much with stuff."

"She says magic is beyond her. The one who calls lightning and freezes the ground." Sylvi rolls her eyes at Dagmar good-naturedly.

"You're bette at Winter than I am" the varich says

Then a look to Sylvi "Who?" Cautious "Who could help?"

A pointed look at Nadeen. "Like Dagmar said...sluagh can talk with ghosts...." Letting her fill in the blank.

"Oh come on" Nadeen hisses "You're asking me to go from hating them to trusting them with the fate of the mann I love like in a span of mere years?? I don't see you kissing a Leanhaun on the mouth "

"I... tolerate them. By my House's standards I'm a damn radical "

"I almost gave one a job!" She adds

A scowl at the Leanhaun comment.

"Then consider this a job. A gig. A fact-finding mission. Pay him. It's not a love affair."

Dagmar rubs the back of her neck.

"Or, y'know, don't. It's just a suggestion."

"no but it is a lot of power and influence to grant a member of a kithain who hates Varich almost as much as Varich hate Sluaggh. You really think the love loss is one way?"

"With my luck, whoever would sell the details to Calanthe"

"No..." Sylvi admits. "That's fair."

Nadeen sighs "I'm sorry. I know you have a point. Both of you. I knnow how much my... arcadian upbringing offends you both. I do. But...there are prroblems in the plan "

"So...we're back to stuff. I can whisper, but I'm not great at it...but my mom is. So's the Chieftain."

"I can't involve them. they're officials of a Gwydion household" She states "Also, while your mom is sneaky? The Chief would..argh"

"She's so.. incredibly forthwritght" A look to Dagmar "So are you but your'e not as forceful bout it. "

Fondly,she smiels at Dagmar "Probably why you work with Symon so well"

"Well, maybe there's somebody who isn't a gwydion but magics well."

Sylvi frowns. "Okay, true. So...we need a free-agent who can do it...." Lightbulb. "Clem?"

"Oh, Clem is good at Primal and fond of Connor..."

"Huh.. unfortunately a modernist rebel but.. maybe"

"Do you think Clem WOULD help me? She owes me nothing. I'm a noble and sidhe. "

"She likes Connor."

"Well...she's not as anti-sidhe as some of her family. But I could ask. And yeah, she might do it if it meant helping Connor."

"True.. and they recently had a gatherin of sidhe to.. make apologies? To some childling that visited if my spies tell true"

"Wait, what? A gathering of sidhe at the Farm?" Sylvi doesn't quite believe it.

"My details are iffy but yes.."

"Huh." She considers that a moment, then says, "I still wouldn't want to push it. But I could talk to Clem quietly about it. Unless there's somebody else who might be better at it...." She thinks.

"You have the best connections at the farm..."

"Well, she might like the fact I'll be slightly in her debt" A tap of drink "IF she can be discrete"

"Well, the easiest way for her to be discreet would be if she didn't actually have to go to SilverWolf. Could we get something to her? Something that would have maybe been with Dahlia in her last days?"

" can't justt.." A pause "Wait, yes. Yes I might have something"

"Yeah? Like what?"
