CJ offers a cheerio to his sister. She may trade him some scrambled eggg!

Sylvi enjoys a bit more breakfast. "So.... I was wondering. Dagmar, you want to come up and visit with us for a bit?"

"Can't. I'm pretty busy." She takes the cheerio for trade.

"We have room in the house" Nadeen says

Jaymes lifts a brow as his daughter talks of being busy. She does work yes but mm

"Well..." Sylvi says. "The offer's open."

"Well, it's summerr, school done, threat over," Tove says "We can ask Siv and Jonas to take up more patrols or Sir Vali. You could get a window to visit"

"Yeah, thanks. I just.. you know, there's my duties at the lodge, and the horses, and lawn mowing, and Connor... plus around home..."

"Yeah, I mean...it's like a window of opportunity while things are less busy..."

"Home can be handled for a short time" Jaymes says

"Well, I gotta catch up from when I was busy."

CJ declares "Flarghnargule" which might be loosely akin to 'and my axe' as far as helping

"What are you behind on? Maybe we can help?" Nadeen inquires

"Sure!" Sylvi agrees with Nadeen.

"I mean, Siv and Jonas and Vali all took up my patrols during this."

"And I swore fealty, so, like..." Frown, shrug.

"And Chief took care of the horses extra, and..."

"Hey, I seriously doubt any of them are keeping tabs, but I know for a fact you'd take up slack for them when they need it."

"I mean, I'm already behind, is all."

"And I'm sure you'll have stuff to catch up on when you get back."

Sylvi starts to say something, and then stops.

"I do," Nadeen admits "But, as I am powerless to sttop some of it, it doesn't matter. And... you're important too, Dagmar. Your friendship maters to us"

"You got lots of stuff there." Some of the bacon has disappeared from her plate, down to Brown Dog & Two Bit.

"Yeah, I know."

"Oh. Okay, I get it." Sylvi puts down her fork. "We've been too busy, so...yeah, okay."

Jaymes looks at his daughter and ggrunts ("I want you eating as at least as much as you're sneaking to the dogs")

"Sorry, Daggmar. If we made you feel like you..." Nadeen "Just.. sorry" For once she has no words that she fears won't make things worse

"No, seriously. I get it. And...it sucks. A lot. I'd say it stronger, but your brother's here." Sylvi gives a brief flicker of a grin.

She clenches her hands, anxious.

"I think...we're just trying to keep it from sucking more. If we can?"

"Just so" Nadeen shoots Sylvi a grateful look

"i mean...if you'll let us?"

"Can't make it like it was...but maybe we can make it a little better than terrible?"

"Because...I think you're kind of stuck with us, one way or another, even if it's not an all-the-time stuck. And I'd kind of like us to enjoy the time that we can get together, rather than just thinking about the time that we can't?"

"Yeah, fine." Maybe agreeing will make this terrifying conversation stop?

"Um...okay. So..." A lost look to Nadeen.

"Also, Dee thinks she'l beat you in Jousting the first time Joust Club comes to Silverrwolf. I like Dame Lavender, I do, but I want to see you yeet her right off her horse so I can steeple my fingers cruely, or maybe cheer you on"

"We could , more netraul territory" Nadeen ponders "Acttually, the more I think about it...yes. Would that be more comfortable for you than at Sivlerwolf itself?" A look to Dagmar

"I don't... I dunno about getting Star out that far... "

"Maybe more comfortable for Connor, too," Sylvi realizes.

"Silverwolf is... yeah, it's hard for Connor."

"Just me going is kinda... like..."
