"Your colt can FLY?" May has met the horses when unencahnted "And w'ere off" She puts her plate away hastily

"Not yet. He's a baby!"

CJ is in her father's hands in the next room. Jaymes is having a good time just staring at the boy

"Still want to see" May says

"Dad?"

"mmm?" (Yes, daughter?)

"Gonna take May and Lupe to see the horses."

A grunt nod ("Have fun")

She passes off one last plum to the monkey. "Okay, you ladies had enough breakfast?"

"Yup" Lupe says

May nods

And Snow says "Never, but I will go with you anyway" BIG monkey grin

"Yeah, you just want one of Star's apples." Without rancor. "I think you must have a pocket dimension in your belly."

"Pockets are nice, they can hold FRUIT" Snow beams

Lupe says "have you thought about sending her to rehab?" As they head out

"Simple needs." Dag stacks dishes in the sink before heading out.

Soon they are heading towards the Lodge's stables. Oak and Brown dog bark hellos!

"Hey guys!" She crouches, arms spread to catch the impact of both dogs.

WHOMP WHOOMP wag wag

Brekke appears from within the stable, a shovel in hand. "Good morning, Dame Dagmar. And...hello," she adds to the others, brow rising a bit.

Ear-rumples. Star sticks her head over the fence and shinnies for attention. Spark is trotting about with little regard for dignity.

"Oh! Chief!" She stands, purple-cheeked.

"Listen.. it.. I... May... May was enchanted, so... so I'm watching them today."

A nod to Dagmar, and another look at the mortals, both of whom she has met, but...

A furrowed brow. "May? How did this happen?"

"Lupe, I hope your people are well," a respectful nod.

May blushes "Ma'am It's not their fault. I don't want to get anyone in trouble"

"I enchanted Lupe, since she brought May to the Barn for help..." Foot-scuff.

A nod to Dagmar, and then a serious look to May. "I understand, but if there was not a specific reason for your enchantment, then somebody is being reckless, and I must address this. Please."

"Tove went looking for her. It's not reckless, it's... youth."

May looks stubborn, not sure she wants to tell

Lupe does "My people are well, both sets" A nod "And.. yeah, it was some girl named Layne?"

May shoots lUpe a look

"Youth," Brekke repeats after Dagmar. Then Lupe speaks, and she nods. "Ah. Yes. Hm."

"And ignorance. Tove thinks she may have discovered enchantment by accident."

"If Tove is seeking her out, I will not go there now. But I will speak with her. Apparently I did not emphasize this enough to her yet."

"Yes, I can see that happening. Young, and new, and enthusiastic."

"Well...." A shift, and the matter seems settled. She turns to indicate the paddock. "Youth is also strong in somebody else today. Much flapping."

"And luckily, it was May. And you know May is... glowy, normally."

"More flapping? He has to be close..."

A brief grin. "Yes. May is that, indeed."

May beams "Can I see?"

She is staring at Brekke, and tilts her head

"That is up to Dame Dagmar," Brekke says with a nod to her. "I will finish with the stable. Make good use of the day," she advises them before turning to continue the mucking-out.

"C'mon, you gotta see Spark as he is."

A pause. "Dame, I have something to speak with you about later. This evening. Yes?"

"He's the first, everybody says. Like, there are pegasus chimera, but not fae steeds... uh... horses that are both horses and part faerie?"

Brekke may not notice at first, but she is now wearing a Horned Helm, the sort folks THINK Vikings wore, but they didn't

Dag stifles a giggle, and nods. "Yes, Chief."

May blushes and then grins and moves to the corrral
