"Anne Marie has told me a bit about you" She confesses "Not so much your title, but that you were good with animals and loved them dearly. I wish I had that confirmed under better situations, but it's nice to see she didn't exaggerate. I don't understand one thing she said, she said you had a cute little fuzzball who thought she waas a REAL dog? Is it a chimera?"

Jaymes has returned "Twobit is a real dog." Grunt ("mostly")

"TwoBit is mostly my dad's."

"She was a rescue, and she's a terrier. So. Terriers."

"Odin is my cat, and Brown Dog stays at the Lodge..."

She looks to the corner. Brown Dog wags

"Good boy."

She moves to Brown Dog and allows him to get her scent "So you're the patient"

"He's doing much better, Brogan and Symon helped."

"And Brogan saved Snow."

"My House brother is talented. I can speed his healing if you'll allow?"

"I don't know how much he still needs... he's been doing better..."

"Very well," she says

"Don't wanna... I mean, if something else happens?"

Symon slides in through the back door. Back again from checking in at home... he blinks at the crowd, and the mystery sidhe, and stays back in the shadows a touch, listening.

"I understand, cantrips CAN go wrong" She says "I would use Chronos to speed the healing..."

Now THAT causes him to raise a brow in interest... listening harder.

It IS a crowd. Dagmar is still cradling Snow in her arms. The monkey is uncharacteristically quiet - sleeping?

"But I can understand you wouldn't want to risk a time speed up idly"

She nods. "Rather be safe. He is doing much better..."

"As you wish" She says

"Thank you, though."

"Any time. I'm not that good with animals but I like them" She sighs "I keep meaning to get a dog"

"Oh, you should. Dogs are good companions. And you can train them, you know."

"Nadeen's got a fae hound, and Oak and Edie are, too."

"Yes, I've heard about Oak and Edelweis"

Hot cocoa on a tray comes out

Anne Marie says "here... both of you drink up. I'm sure you're all plotting on keeping me here"

"We were talking about how Kenna needs a dog."

"Oh Kenna, you should have said something. " Anne Marie says "You'd be a wonderful dog owner"

Kenna takes a mug and sips "Oh so good. " Then she blushes "Well, I'm very busy at court"

"Thank, Anne Marie." She takes a mug.

"All the more reason to get a dog, someone on your side, none of those nasty intrigues" Anne Marie says "Though Dirk does love his cat, so does Symon. Maybe I should get a dog"

"Peach and Lovecraft seem real fond of you, too."

"Oh Lovecraft would never admit it" she says "And that snake thing..oh well, they do keep the mice out of the larder."

"Lovecraft... " A glance at Symon before she finishes that one.

The big blunt troll is TRYING to be sensitive!

He steps forward out of his little shadowy nook. "Dogs are noisy, mom. ...maybe a guard dog, though..." He allows.

"oh.." Anne Marie moves to hug her son "I've heard from Jonas how hard you and Dirk have been working. This Prissy girl? She's sworn?"

"She is, but Dirk is still watching her in case she tries to pull something." He accepts the hug with more grace than usual. "Is this her?" Looking at Kenna.

His gaze clearly unimpressed - all of this over that?

"Yes, this is Kenna. A fine young lady." She says

"You must be Symon, the smartest most wonderful boy in the world" Kenna rises to offer her free hand

He gives her a narrow-eyed look. Is she mocking him? "It's -just- Symon." The hand is eyed, but he reaches out and offers his own limp, clammy one... after all, his ma is right there.

"oh, I sent her a few letters about our family, Symon" Anne Marie explains

That makes him look uncomfortable.

The shake is firm and no commentary about his own limp grip "Nice to meet you, Symon. Your mother saved me once. I'm sorry it has brought forward this.. fall out"

"Yeah, sorry. Are you going to fix it?" He asks, a bit bluntly. "They tried to kill my dad, you know. TWICE."

"TWICE?" Anne Marie almost shrills

"I mean to make the man pay for it" Kenna says
