"It's two way it seems." A nod "I've about decided I like satyrs- in moderation"

"They can be a bit much, sometimes."

"Dee hasn't gone too crazy yet. And Piper's pretty cool."

"Yes. I migh try to pinch Piper away as a troubadour for a hold I eventually get. Mostly to annoy Siv, but also because Piper is really good"

"She is! We don't have so many formal positions..."

"Nope. I hope her tour goes well" A pause "maybe we should catch one of her shows?"

"We could!"

"I'd like that" she says

"Me too."

"I mean, I still like... like hanging out.."

"Well, of course, we're sill FRIENDS" she says and then smiles "Good friends."

She starts to reach for Nadeen's hands, but nods. "Yeah. Good friends."

Nadeen sees the near gesture and smiles sadly at something, but it's still a smile "How are the horses? "

"Oh, great!" And Nadeen gets an update on goat-and-foal antics.

"Spark is an odd little horse, and not just for the wings"

"Yeah, Stormwake despairs."

"I think he'll be a good fit for Connor. They're both kind of sweet and silly."

"They are..." A chuckle

"And yes, they'll be good for each other"

"Though we have at least a year before any kind of riding training starts."

"SOmewhere between eighteen months and two years is the common time to start saddle breaking."

"Well, that's fine. Connor is not getting much older himself so another year won't hurthim"

"True."

"Should we go inside for some food?"She gestures to Tove's kichen window

"Mm. I should keep patrolling."

"You need to eat to keep your strength" Nadeen says hand on hip

"Maybe a snack."

"Yes" She nods and guides her in for a 'snack' and if that snack resmembles a meal? So be it
