The herald announcing the satyress says "Dame D'Lorian , freelance...She will prove." And that's all the herald says

Brekke paces a bit, watching.

Siv gives another announement for Dagmar, just as flowering as the first one! No shame

Vali says to the Chief "Before you ask. I've done an omen. No clue what is going on"

Brekke nods to Vali. "The Mountain had concerns...but you do not think there is any ill work to tip favor?"

"If there is, it's interwoven very deep"

Aiden watches in some concern. Calanthe says, “that nag would be better served as a saddle.” She may not be wrong...

Lances break on both sides! the first time. yes, it takes It takes three passes, but Dagmar gets the edge in points. And by the end , the old horse is actually heaving air like a leaky bagpipe and D'Loriean says "i'm sorry, I'm so sorry. You did your best."

Aiden is twitchy. “That mare should be to pasture, not running against prime beasts like Star.”

Sylvi is biting her lip again, but out of concern for the horse.

Dagmar trots out to meet the satyress. "Good match, but.. your girl..." Concern.

"Well, we're out of the joust now, it's for the best" She says "I just couldn't afford any ohter horse.Then I got attached" She admits

She offers her hand "Good match, Dame Dagmar. You do indeed hit like a hammer"

"She's a fighter." Approving.

Handshake.

And there are cheers as D"Lorin walks rather than riding her horse out.

Sylvi murmurs to Colton, "I...I'll be right back. Keep our seats, okay?" And before he can protest, she slips away.

Aiden applauds quietly as the horse is led off.

Colton looks confused but guards their seats.

Nadeen sighs "Sad. Truly."

Connor has snuck over to the other rider, and is asking, “I brought too many apples, can your horse help eat one so I don’t have to carry back?”

Dagmar tends Star - she sees Connor over by the satyress, and approves of it by letting her squire follow his instincts.

D'Loreian smiles "Thank you, squire. "

And the contests continue.

He returns to his knight. But thoughtful.

The next two joust groupings, have Doomwind and Brekke both though again not facing each other. Brekke is back to form again, unhorsing one Leanhaun lord so high into the air folks wonder if he got hopscotched

"Mind your pride," Brekke scolds Stormwake, but not too strongly. She nods acknowledgment to the beaten Leanhaun...but does not offer a hand to shake.

Nadeen says to Baron Aiden "That's more her usual form"

She considers the Leanhaun's horse, but then shakes her head. "No ransom needed."

Calanthe seems torn between a smirk and a frown. “Humph.” She remarks, interpreting the gesture as she may.

And then suddenly, Dagmar is up again!
