Dirk says "We get to hit the dreaming"

"Maybe the dreaming. But I'm thinking probably."

"I'm putting a team together because I've been asked to find and bring back a batch of those kith-changing cookies. And trust me when I say it's for a good cause. I'd like you along, Symon, for sneak-ability and strategy. What do you think?"

He recoils a bit. "Why would anyone want THAT?"

"The cookies, that is." He ponders this with a small frown. "If you need them, I'll help. Anything to get out from under Quarantine smothering. But I'm not eating any."

She grins. "I don't want to say too much, but in general the cookies are there to teach some folks a lesson about thinking that some kiths are better than others."

"And it's better if you don't eat any. I have to deliver them."

"Some kiths ARE better than others." He remarks blandly. "Dagmar on board?"

"Redcaps RUUUL" A grunt

She roles her eyes, then counts off on her fingers, "Me, Dagmar, Lucita, Zane, you two, and last I'm asking Gerd. I figure that's a pretty well rounded group."

"That's a big crowd for a bakery run."

"Well...yeah. I know. I guess...." She sighs. "Maybe."

"More people means it's harder for the dungeonmaster to keep track, so maybe whatever we run into can't pick us all off. Smaller groups can fall under radar though. But this isn't MY circus."

"I'm just one of the monkeys." A small toothless grin.

"But everybody seems into it...and I think we all could use a quest that isn't about, y'know, really banal stuff like slave trade." A frown.

"YOu could have us fight for a slimmer group, final 4 wins"

"And then only the muscle goes and nobody with other skills? No thanks."

"Anyway...if you want in, you're in. Dirk already said yes. I've got to get a bit of research done, but then I'll be texting everybody. Okay?"

"Got it. Sure you don't want to see this? It was hell to get the rat into the right pose..."

A wince and an apologetic, "Do I have to? I don't want to be rude, but...does it help to know you've already squicked me out?"

A wider grin. "Yes. G'wan."

He waves her away.

"Cool. Okay, text ya both soon." And she makes her escape.

Dirk says "You have chosen wisely. See you Sylvi"

Dirk watches her go, then looks at Symon "Seelie.Ha. They're fun"

He grins. "You want some rat guts?"

"Yeah sure why the fuck not.." A shrug

He snickers and opens the door. "Let me know if the expression on the rat is scary looking - to a normy - or just gross. " And will show off his latest creation.

And Dirk will give his honest opinion on unsettling. Crass, but honest.

Gerd is living with Tiffany and Vali now, and Margilita..

She sighs as she taps on the computer and sighs

And an echoing tap at the front door.

Gerd happens to be the one closest to it, and glad to have an excuse for a break anyway. She moves to open the door "Whoever you are, thank you. School paperwork is boring even when ther'es no paper"

"School? We've still got a couple of weeks, don't we?" Sylvi is standing there. "So I assume you can spare a couple of minutes?"

"Welll, shiftingi nto high school they want all the records they COULD get from the middle school which insane. Why don't they just communicate with each other? I.. yeah come in, please"

"Sure." She's doing her records stuff herself? Vali's not doing it? I guess Tiffany would have trouble not lying. Sylvi follows Gerd inside.

Gerd leads her in "So what's up?"

"Well, I'm planning a quest, and I'd like to ask you to join us."

"Whoa.. serious? Just us girls or are some of the guys tagging along?"

"It's a mix. You, me, Dagmar, Lucita, Zane, Dirk, and Symon. I figure that covers a lot of bases, skill-wise. We're probably going to end up in the Dreaming; worst case, we'll have to get into the Deep Dreaming."

"Lucia's coming along? Huh, been a while for her. " A nod "Deep dreaming? Ugh. That's alaways a mind fu.. always a jolt. Where ever this is, not near the Sea huh?"

A sigh. "You, too?"

"Me too what?" A confused look

A moment of grumpy silence. "Nothing. I...guess I'll be asking Siv, too. People seem to think it's weird I don't have her on the list."

"Wait.. hold up. If you have that face you have reasons. Sit down. We trust your judgement as our leader so it's cool. But yeah, folks get curious."

A sigh and she sits. "It's...stupid, really. I just...I got asked to take on a quest. I decided on my team. But folks keep saying we need Siv, so...okay, we need Siv." A shrug.

"Okay, do they actually say we need Siv, or are they just surprised she's not going along? Because I got news, we don't NEED Siv. You've got a team of Badass fighters, Brainacs, a good leader, and a Witch in training "

"The witch coming along was a particularly inspired choice" Loftily

A grin. "I thought so. I figure especially if we go Deep Dreaming and we can't keep Dirk fed, we might need a witch who can flickerflash him back....if it works like that."
