"Oh, 1930s or so... great skies!"

"Ooo" she says as they move on the first floor "This is Room One..where Mr. Dyer and his kids live... " She knocks

and the door opens. Mr. Dyer should have been a chummy bear pooka, isntead he'd a kinian, which while it cheats him of certain benefits at least has him communicating well "HEY" he smiles as he opens "Gerd.. and you must be Sparrow. I got a call about you" He is not immune to the Liam vibe OR sidhe beauty, but rather rolls with it in an easy going almost zen way

"Nice to meet you..." Handshakes, smiles, niceties.

"Let me know if I can help you in anyway" he says "Wer'e trying to do a lot but I can close off things. Pool going up soon maybe ? I don't know I've gotten a guy on the line"

"Ooo, pool..."

"My client insists on access to this pool as part of her payment for painting jobs, once said pool is open" Gerd immediately says.

Mr. Dyer blinks, then breaks into a laugh "Sure sure"

"Gerd!"

Gerd does NOT look guilty

"It's okay, I'd allow it anyway. We've got a good crowd here. Not a lot of 'Karens' here that would fuss" Mr. Dyer says "Truth to tell, I've been trying to figure out how to get like a dozen ferns in the area to add color to the interior but painting is even better"

"It'll take a few weeks, so I guess you'll have to get used to me." Sunshine-smile.

"That doesn't seem a crisis" He says with a grin "Now we have a supply area where you can put paints, borrow our ladder if needed, heck Edgar even has a tarp for the floor though I don't know just how much you'll need and I'm sure you'd rather use your own materials as much as possible. "

"A place to store things would be nice, yes..."

"Sure sure..." He leads them down the hall and down a step into a basement area

"Edgar and I both have keys" He opens it up.

The Supply Area is a basement, and thus with gray boring bricks, dim light, and yes, cleaning supplies and excess furniture covered up ready to be used to replace something lost in an emergency. It's bland but functional

Therre are many 'regular' pants.. sadly mostly beige to match the walls, some white.. and for some reason, a can of purple.

She lifts up the purple. Eyebrow.

"No idea, yours to use if you like" he says

"Well, I'm going to have to plan and sketch first..."

"Oh definitely, no rush" The man says

"She has a quest kind of, Escheat stuff, very hush hush" Gerd states

Mr. Dyer nods "So... to compensate she only gets the shallow end of the pool?"

"Sir" Gerd says in a huffy tone.

Mr. Dyer chuckles

"Well, if you don't mind, Mr. Dyer I'm going to show her around a bit more" Gerd says

"oh no problem" he says

And they move on, Sparrow can see there are actually a few apartments open. When your focus is on Changelings and Kinian while charging high prices for unenchanted types, well, it might be a bias, but it works to keep a vacancy open if a changeling needs. The real prize is the hallways though, and the stairway. Yes, The Stair ways are relatively open air.

"The elevator had a shaft shark in it but they took care of that" Gerd says

"Oh, goodness!"

"Mostly Tikki provides security.. he's a mongoose pooka.. cute, but I ain't trying anything because he and Eden are.. honestly, SO into each other I suspect a fair fortune and he was her prize or vice versa" A blush "It's sometimes uncomfortable being around them because it's like.. total eye contact between them and they don't see or notice anyone else." A bit of.. envy? "That said, he's good at fighting. We also patrol from the lodge here more often. Gives them a tighter bond to them. This whole apartment is a good idea but it might have been a shock to the Chief. " They come out at another floor "Let's see...Lyron lives here" She gestures "He's a dancer from some islands.. I forget which ones... hurricane situation I guess. He's a dancer. GOOD at it. "

"Nice..."

A knock at the door, gentle

And then the door opens , and Lyron peeks out, bare chested "Hey?"

"Oh, sorry, Lyron, bad time?"

A quiet wave from behind Gerd.

"I'm afraid I'm with someone.." He grins "Everything well?"

"oh," Gerd blushes "Sorry I. ah.. uh.. Sparrow is.. she'll be around doing artwork for the halls.. and I didn't want anyone alarmed..."

"I am most scary."

Lyron doesn't seem offended "Hey, that's great" then to Sparrow "In my middle school years I'd have been afraid to approach a lovely woman such as yourself. " He says

"In my middle school years, I would have been afraid to be approached. 13 is a tough age."

"Truer word" he says sympathetically "I hope you two forgive me for cutting it short? But..." A look back over his shoulder

"Oh yes, uhm sure" Gerd says blushing "Sorry"

A little 'go on" gesture. "See you!"

"Nice meeting you, Sparrow" And he closes the door

Gerd says "Well, that was mortifying" Purple

"Satyrs!"
