Frank sips his coffee.

There's a good possibility that a certain high keening carries from the Lodge out to the gardens.

"That's your call, Tove," Kerri points out, quite certain that Tove's aware.

"I got it" Jaymes says to his wife and heads to the lodge

Tove says "But..." And watches as Jaymes goes to handle it, then she bites her lip torn by emotions

Kerri says, "Go. Nursing is part of how you get your shape back," she winks. "Come on," she offers Tove an arm. "He's being noble, but there's other considerations."

Frank looks towards the Lodge. "Hmmphm."

Tove says "There are?" and she's lead off.

Well, she takes the arm

"Well, about getting one's figure back, I mean." And she explains how nursing makes the abs tighten up...

"It does? Huh.. and the breast pump doesn't help with that? I ... "She talks matter of factly about the subject

Olgar looks at Frank, "Want another beer? "

"Oh, it does, but...." And they're out of earshot.

Olgar gets himself a beer while he waits.

"Yeah."

And he hands one over to Frank, "Jaymes will be okay. So will Tove. Sleep deprived perhaps ,but okay"

"Yep."

"Mmm sometimes I DO wish Kerri and I had had a second one," A shake of his head "Then I see how she has not just Sylvi need her, but at one point or another, just about every other young changeling too... maybe not as a mother figure, but advisor, or 'cool aunt' or what not. "

"Mmph. Not always just the young wilders."

"Not always" he agrees , and looks proud

"She has her hands full."

"Yeah. " Olgar says as he drinks "One thing and you and I have agreed on for years. I married up" A wink then "to change the subject... how are your daughters?"

"They seem well. Both busy, following different paths." And Frank fills him in, a little, on details.

Olgar nods "Yeah? An HEIR? Holy shit"

"Mm."

Olgar ponders "Balor are getting obnoxious on the trods near Jessica's County... not IN it, but around it."

"Trouble?" An eyebrow.

"Powerplay.. trying to 'protect' the trods so the rovers don't feel needed.. and we back off. "

"Do you?"

A snort "If it were up to me, I'd tell him to shove it up their shiny corrupt asses."

"I take it that means you don't back off."

"It means Im pushing the other rovers IN that area not to back off.. it's a rather loose orginzation at times... not sure I can MAKE it happen. I mean, I live here . I got a few ideas. Was thinking of telling Jessica or her Duke that the Rovers could use a safe house ..and that might encourage them to frequent more often"

Frank takes a drink of beer. "Might."

A nod "It's something to consider, but I got to bring it up right. Jessica can be a bit.. ah, forgive me, but she gets her head up when it comes to anything she sees as Charity"

"She wants to earn her way. Always has."

"She needs to figure out she hit THAT mark a long time ago" Olgar says

"She doesn't think so." With sureness. "It's a moving target."

"I get it, soemwhat, can't get complacent, always got to find something to test yoruself against" He says "But the 'earning' part.. that still throws me off. Seems to hard on herself"

"She's Seelie." Unapologetically and proudly.

"Ah, it's okay, Frank. Nobody's perfect" Olgar nods

A glower; that's his daughter Olgar is talking about.

He holds up a hand "Fine, Daughters are perfect." He says "I should know that. "

"Hmmph."

"Hopefully she'll like the safe haven idea" A look "And Siv's offering kisses to the victor huh?"

A grunt.

"I'm not even going to pretend that wouldn't get under my skin if Sylvi did something similar , no matter my recognition of her agency. ...but, Siv in a high perch? Damn near untouchable"

"Granted. Still don't like it."

"Maybe she'll work it out of her system" He says "I actually think she feels like a conservative voice in that hold ..relatlively speaking"

"Probably."

"How long do you think she'll try to join up for House Fiona?"
