Sniff sniff, curious wag, she likes the smell

"Twobit" Jaymes says "Baby.. CJ.. Clint James. CJ is good. You will protect. Guard Baby from bad. "

"Dad, she's not a real dog."

Twobit hears this command and assumes the same body language of a devoted rotwieiler ready to disembowel any who would bring harm!

"Oh you poor poor confused creature" Tove mutters

"Well, she's loyal."

"Hurumph" Jaymes says ("Of course she is, she's my dog")

"Oh you are such a .. " Tove kisses her husband's cheek, "We apologize for insulting the honor of your dog"

"TwoBit will be a good guard."

"Not a real dog, but, well. SHE thinks she is."

"Do I tell you Odin isn't a real cat?" Jaymes says

Rorw goes Odin. What nonsene is this?

"Odin is the king of cats."

Tail lash of ire and agreement as he sits

"mmm well, he's missing an eye.. Two bit is missing height. I don't see a difference" he says

Tove tuts ("We love you anyway")

"It's alright, Dad." A peck on his temple.

Jaymes snorts.

but seems mollified

Twobit snorts as well. Ever loyal

Odin goes back to studying the baby. No one has apologized to him once for bringing an intruder into the house

at least, for the moment, it's a QUIET intruder...

...for now...

"Okay, let's let him sleep..." A pause "Who wants to coax the animals out?"

"Odin, c'mon. Treats." She picks him up and transfers him to shoulder.

Twobit is not crazyabout leaving.. guard, protect.

Tove does put down a gift... "Here.. something warm for him to hold..."

"There, CJ, so you know are thoughts are of you, and the memories you make will be treasured" She beams over the baby, and then slips out with her family

"Like how the Ravens would watch for Odin?"

"Exactly... and act as his messangers" They head out the door and close it

The others go down, but two bit stays by the door and stands guard. NONE SHALL PASS

Dagmar does get Odin the promised treats.

Soon, like a rusty chain saw, Odin is purring

Dagmar smiles.
