Ten pictures, Tove goes over them delighted. One has her and Jaymes and Dagmar in tight trio well, foursome if you count the belly with Dagmar's big grin bursting out as she sees HER Camera being used on them. How her eyes sparkle. Another picture is of Dagmar bringing down the dunk with an Enchanted May trying to block and failing but good natured, no, it's Lupe who looks like the poster child for Agony of Defeat straight off a sports mag! Gonzalez likes to win, darn it.

Then another one of May, Lupe, and Dagmar, this time at rest with Dagmar in her new shoes and carrying that lightning ball while her friends have arms around her

Oh here's a great one Dagmar may not have seen, her mouth opened REAL big as she takes in a chunk of cake! Tove fights a giggle, the picture is funny, and lacking any Gwydion Dignity

Of course, it wouldn't be complete without atl east one picture of Dagmar on Star's back.

"She's always so happy on the back of a horse" Tove says aloud, "I think the world makes more sense to her from there"

Jaymes sits down next to her, almost startling her, "hey" She smiles

"Hey" He nods and grunts looking over the pictures, chuckling at the cake one

She smiles and shows another one, Nadeen and Dagmar dancing... not in formal dress,but caught up in a cool tune when they never ever consider someone had the camera ready

Jaymes nods approvingly

The two coo and fuss happily

Jaymes is, often, wordless but his thoughts are full This little girl is the best thing that ever happened to me. Never thought I'd be a good father, but now I see it's better than being a hunter, a warrior, or anything else. It's the reason TO be anything else

Thunderous footsteps down the stairs... oh look, lunchtime.

Where is the lunch? Her parents aren't making with the lunch? They're both here! Great. Dad must have got time off... but wait, what are they looking at?

Dagmar's eyes may fall on one picture or another, but they're sure to lock onto at least one or two

"Oh jeez, you took a picture of THAT?"

"Well, actually, Siv took some, we took others. We passes the camera around" Her mother says "Which one do you mean?"

"Where I'm making that face... oo, do we have cake left?"

"I might have saved one piece from the ravening horde ... fridge, second shelf, behind the juice " She even hide it to keep it from going early

"mmmm?" Her father says ("Make that face? She means the cake eating one? Or the one where she looked drooly about the phone?')

"Cake for lunch!" Happily.

After all, there is no lunch...

"Actually" her mom blushes "I didn't feel like cooking so I ordered Pizza"

"Oooo..." She looks at the cake, debating. "Cake for dessert?"

"Your choice, have the cake first or have some of the pizza first." She says

And there's barkity bark bark and a knock at the door.. Twobit is on the case.

Jaymes rises "Pizza" he goes to pay

And soon her father is complicating things by laying down a large pizza in the kitchen, and a medium.

The Medium is a meatlovers for him (And others)

Where as the large is more suited to his daughter and wife... who puts peppers on pizza?

"Oooo..."

Pizza first! It's best when the cheese is still stretchy!

"Dagmar sweetie?, could you get me two slices? " Yup. Tove don't want to move right now

Jaymes makes a face at the ungoldy mix of jalapeno and pineapple and sticks to his meat lovers.

Two slices for Tove, a slice from each for Dagmar.

Her father smiles "Pictures look nice"

"They do, mostly."

"Mostly?" He says

Grunt. ("Cake mouth")

Smirk ("Keeping that one")

Hmph. (Well, I GUESS you can.)

A kiss on the forehead.

"Da-ad."

"Mmm go get your mom her slices, please"

"Yessir."

"Starving..."

From the living room, Tove withers "I decay from lack"

"Mo-om!"

"I can't move... trapped by baby weight" Oh skalds can be dramatic

Snort. And pie!
