At the Ironhawk Farmhouse ... Torin Torad slaps on some smelly stuff onto his face

"One for the Headman," Slap "One for the Headman's shield..." Other side "And.." Some under the pits 'Some for that poor sap with the collar"

He looks over his outfit. A nice suit... really. Made by a nocker guy but. well, it was on sale.

He comes out "how does your grandfather look, Dagmar?"

"Pretty fancy. WHy are you so fancy?"

"I have a date" He says

"a DATE?"

"Well, yes" he says "Little nervous" he says "It's been.. well, not couting dreaming time as bent, it's been a long time since I dated... "

"She's a bit younger than me, but not like embarrasing young" Torin says

"Who is it?"

"A friend of Anne Marie's." he says

Trust a boggan to match make grumps!

"I'm meeting her tonight" A cough

"First time"

A BLIND Date no less

"Maybe... maybe a different tie?"

"Well, you think your father would mind if I borrowed his plain black one?"

"I don't think he'd mind."

He makes the switch, and thank goodness it does look better

"Oh, that helps..."

"And what if... hey, do you have jeans? Girls like jeans. Dark ones."

"For a date? Isn't a fellow supposed to dress up?"

"Sure, so you keep the coat."

"Fashions surely are different than I'd thought they'd be.. mmm best I've got is a medium blue one"

"Well, that might do."

He departs and comes out. Yes.. that.. HELPS.. yes doesn't save it, but it helps

"Much better." She nods.

"Thanks. Well, wish me luck?" He says

"Good luck!"

"Thanks" he says and winks, then heads out "I can do this... women love a man with confidence, if I can fake that..." And he's gone

A moment later, Tove comes in "Ugh.. " Jaymes behind her carrying grocieres

"Uhg?" Dag squeezes past, going to grab the rest of the bags (or steal them from Tove)

"Sorry I just... falling overmyself... I.. hey I had that" as a bag is taken. But it's clear she was tiring

"Yeah yeah, sit down..."

"who's the mom here? " she does how ever sit

Jaymes grunts approvingly at Dagmar. Clearly he approves

"Wait, what is that smell?" Tove wrinkles her nose "It smells like ... I've smelt it before, but ...it reminds me of Lutefisk gone bad."

"Torin's going on a date."

"My da is wha?" She blinks "My father's dating? Since when is my father dating again?"

Jaymes looks surprised

"A date."

"I know it's A date, but I still don't know how A date happened? I thought we had him underquarentine? " she says troubled by this a bit "He hasn't dated since.. well, obviously he romanced mother."

"Your mother, rest her soul, has been gone a long time" Jaymes reminds.

Tove makes a face that Dagmar might find strangely familiar

"Well... blame the boggan."

'Blame what boggan?" Tove says "What boggan has done this?" she tries to cross her arms and grows frustrated as it's not as easy as it was

"mmmm" She says growly even "There's Lucia.. and Ramona..."
