He trails off, then adds, almost embarrassed sounding.
"Or the stiffer rawhide, scales-out could be affixed around the shaft of your Halberd for defense against someone chopping the wooden part - that would suck. Or maybe even some sort of armor for that snobby horse of yours. I figured I'd give you the leather, and you could pick something..." A shrug, embarassed a bit.
