"I am looking for my apprentice, but she is a stubborn bit of kroft. Have you seen her?" Klump asks

"Not lately, but we can look!"

"Mmmm you are welcome to, but Neera can be tricky to find."

"How is the teachng going?"

"She is stubborn, often talks about magical slivers and the secretsof the stone and so on. You can put the spirit of a wizard into the stone, but you can't stop her from wanting the wrong things" he sighs

"What do Glomes want? Proper ones?"

"We do study lore, we keep memories, traditions, we hold onto old ways and study the old ways of others. We do not forget, we do not change our minds easily" he admits

"And she's impatient at the pace you teach it" The Varich says

"Well, by Glome standards she must be very young indeed."

"We were discussing it"

"A quest!"

"Why would you need to quest?" Surprised "you have much here. Hearth, home, family"

"I do. Nadeen needs a better sword. She sacrificed hers."

"Oh, swords" He nods "Yes, there are many in the Dreaming, even if one only seeks those of power"

"You know about swords, Klump?" Nadeen is intrigued and surprised

"Oh yes. I Once had to carry one for centuries until they finally found an Englishboy able to take it out of my back. What a relief" He nods
