Adam luxuriates in NO SCHOOL!! At least till they get the distance learning stuff sorted out, and that's not happening right -now- so........

"Nab?" He looks around the room.

"Hey!" SHe chimes

He perks up, seeking her out. "How you doin'?"

"Great, thanks." She says "Believe it or not "

"Why wouldn't I believe it?" He flops down, offering her a space next to him.

"Nightmare terrain

"Huh?"

"Folks are scared, not my kind of glamour"

"Of the virus?"

"Yup. I'm doing what I can to cheer folks up...making them realize if theyre couped up wit ha special someone there are fun ways to pass the time"

A huge grin. "You're so selfless." He strokes her back with a finger tip.

"Sweety" She giggles "I do get SOMETHING out of it"

"Win-win, then." He stretches. "Want to get a chance to see Piper before they get the distance learning thing set up."

"Going to try that poetry on her?"

He blinks. "Wasn't going to. Was thinking of Sally Mae, with that."

"Ooo even more interesting"

"She's into me, but I think the age difference freaks her out."

"mmm she'd be putty if you were 18?"

"Well, she -says- I have to graduate first." A shrug.

"I bet if I had a diploma, or was 18, she'd feel better about it."

"Probably" SUspicious look "A diploma you say?"

"That's what -she- said."

"BUT.... and this is the cool part..... she -wants- me to graduate and all. So she -wants- to get to 'yes.'"

"Hey, good point" She says though she has other suspicions she's not going to bring them up "Do you know a lot of colleges are like 70% female student body? or more? "

"Well, you know I love female student bodies...."

"I mean, college might be ok but I want to adventure and explore, too."

"Hopefully -that- involves female bodies too."

A giggle "I bet you'll find a way to make it so"

"A man can try!" Cheerfully. He kisses his fingertip and presses it to her cheek.

"you're feeling frisky" She says and kisses the tip back

"Well.... I mean, the virus sucks, it's not a -good- thing.... but it -is- getting us out of school, which is great."

"Yes." Her eyes shimmer "Your mom and dad might have some plans for you"

A sigh. "They're going to finish the year with distance learning, probably. I'll -go- to school, just not -go- there. We had spring break coming anyway!"

"Yeah." She nods "But there's also chores and fun stuff... though, if you like? I might be able to keep them out of your hair for a bit?"

"How..... oh, aw, eeesh, Nab....." The picture forms in his head.

"Relax... i can even get them out of the house if you want"

"And I just -don't- wanna think about how you'll do that....." He sighs. "Nah. Even if you did, Lily would still be here."

"Oh we can have her watched at the lodge playing with puppy boy"

"Hey, Connor's cool for a little dude."

"He is, he is. I should use his name" She says

"Nab?"

"What?" She looks up smiling

Her expression brings a flash of a smile to his unusually somber expression.

"Nah, I was just thinking..... I'm gonna quit the sports store."

Adam checks it, grins again. Txt: Come over?

"Why quit? Things that slow?"
