"Don't worry, I got this."

"Thanks. I'll go finish up. Oh, by the way? Nadeen heard about this. Vali shut her down. SHe's pissed."

"Why would she want to go?"

"She's a friend, maybe more, naturally she wants to share activities with you"

"I guess I didn't think of it..."

"Well, don't beat yourself up about it. It's really best she doesn't. You know Thyle was nasty to Sidhe "

"I heard they kinda sucked"

Vali approaches, fully packed and ready, up their sidewalk

Siv nods "At one time, they kept Sidhe in collars to hinder their memories and soveriegn" Siv says "They were that paranoid about.. oh, HI Vali. Guess what?"

"We will be going on a ship. You are free to go as well, but at a price of another duty. We leave within the hour" He says

A scowl. "That's bullshit."

"Ha!"

"I thought you had a harder time reading me?" Siv says a bit petulant.

"Yes I do, doesn't mean I don't get glimpses... also, I know a Beaumayn at Earth Runes. " A grin "Dagmar, you ready to go? "

She picks up a clanking rucksack. "Yup."

And Jaymes shows, carrying more than expected "Tove made a lot of food"

"Darn right I did. Jaymes, go. I love you, return safe to me." Tove says then "Dagmar, I love you, return safe to me." A look at Vali a beat "Have a nice time, Vali."

"Thanks" Vali says "I get it."

Tove gets a surprise hug.

"Ok. See you soon."

Tove warms to the hug "Wish I knew what this was about." She lets go.

"And Siv, you're going? Be safe" She says

Siv smiles "no projmises, but I'll make sure they all get back" A glance "Even Vali"

"Wow" Vali says

and they head off to the lake

Siv takes out the Narwal's from the bottle...there's a shattering of the thin ice... and the ramp comes down, "There's my love" Siv purrs at the ship in a way she rarely does even with boys she likes.

"That's not disturbing at all," Vali mutters

"Hi boat!"

"You'll jinx us" Siv says to the Boat Comment, and up she goes o nthe ramp , and pats the Narwhal's railing when she gets there 'You're a good ship."

"Lollipop" Vali sings

"Do we need him?" Captain Siv asks

Smirk from Jaymes as he and Dagmar go up

"I dunno, but I think so?"

"Fine," Siv says and the ramp comes up once they're all up, "Station yourselves. We'll be making a series of plunges... one that will eventually get us into the Dreaming." She commands

"How can I help?"

"Be ready to grab that rope in case of storm, when we pop up, we may find ourselves in a gale. Pull only when I tell you by command or this gesture " She makes a motion "That way even if the wind howls loud you'll know. Uncle Jaymes, you've got the best eyes. Look out if yo8u please, Mr. Ironhawk." Then to Vali "Ugh. You do have sea experience. You'll know what to do."

"Aye aye, cap'tn" Jaymes says and makes the climb

while Vali smiles

And then....

Siv calls out, and the ship plunges on it's way to take them to adventure!
