"What , is Tove giving out lessons in this place?" Vali says

"I have my methods" She says "They have a new leader. New wways..."

"The end of thralldom is a hell of a lot different from allowing independent sidhe on shore. They've moved from slavery, they're still strong in some segregation... and you ain't Rosa Parks"

"Why is only commoners get to rebel?" She huffs.

"I so do not have time for this. Baroness, you may out rank me, but you are staying because Sidhe aren ot allowed...." He says

She huffs clearly not sold

"And because Dagmar will kill herself trying to protect you, or get killed fighting against greater trained warriors the first time you get insulted or hurt by some bigot"

Nadeen stops

Vali sees realization in her eyes and goes on "That's right. All it takes is one guy to insult you, then she gets in their face.. .then they insult her.. call her an elf pet or what not... Gwydion rage kicks in... and win or lose, she loses. All because you wanted to go along"

Nadeen's mein pulses with out rage.

"Oh dim it down," Vali says "You know I'm right."

Nadeen glowers "You're an ass."

"I'm an ass who is right" he says

"And I never liked your jokes" Cooly "NEVER."

"Ouch, and too bad. " He says "You care too much for Dagmar to put her in danger for your ego's sake."

"if anything happens to her, I'm holding you responsible, Prophet" She turns and storms off.

Vali sighs and watches her go Its like being asked to guard a line backer, a linebacker with a pole arm

"We have a problem, Mrs. Lee," The interogator says "A problem that you are making MORE Problematic."

Anne Marie is not a fighter, not in the physical sort, of course, but she looks up at him, "I will not share my indexing with you."

"IT's in these files, isn't it? EVERYTHING I want to know," the interogator says "But for some reason, I can't figure out the pattern, little stars? footnotes? Different colored ink? A whole system of who is who and wha'ts what among the children of this barony"

"Sometimes I doodle in the margins" She says

The jab is fast, and bloodies her nose.

the woman cries out

"Shall we try again?" He states. The others near him chuckle.

As blood drips down her nose.

From his hiding spot, Symon clenches his fist so hard that it's surprising that there aren't audible sounds of bones snapping. Thank goodness for sluagh bendiness. If he had teeth, they'd be clenched, but for now, he just observes, picking up all the information he can glean...

Kinain, no wonder they slipped under the radar. Four of them. Enchanted. The leader seems to enjoy doing the interrogation himself. Or maybe it's 'just business'?

"All the better." Symon muses. "When we kill these fucks, they'll be dead for good, and we won't need to doit again next life."

And he creeps back to share the intel with the rest of the posse.

Symon hisses, "What good is a troll on hand that couldn't even protect her?" Not really that much more inclined towards Jonas at the moment.

Zane says "That means he may have taken one for her, and one when he wouldn't get out of the way the first time." Zane says "Let's keep the blame on the buttholes. SPeaking of Trolls... I don't know if they'd get here in time to save the day, but if I use a bit of chicaney to stir emotions and so they see each other AS trolls of Rivervale, it might.. well, get them fighting each other ? At least some."

He scowls, but drops his complaint. "I can raise shadows to help distract them. And seek their weaknesses..."

"How about I eat them? That a good plan?" Dirk snaps

"I wish Lovecraft was here." He mutters. "But better she stay in case they decided to send someone after Dad. He wouldn't even know what was happening." A glance to Dirk. "I like it, but if they shot you full of darts, you'd only get a few bites before they kicked in. Cheaters."

"Well, you're the smartest guy I know" Dirk says to the sluagh "is there some way to.. antitdote or wake up Jonas so his blue ass is USEFUL?? Can you make a fix?"
