The door opens

"Dagmar? " It's Siv. "You still needing to do the thing?"

A scowl. "Course we need to do the thing."

"Well, if you still need a captain and ship, I and the Narwhal are available, though I will need to be doing something while on this quest"

Brow furrow, processing. "You asked?"

"Yes, the baroness gave me... another task to go with it, but she agreed."

"I told you!" A grin. "What task?"

She lowers her voice 'Well, she didn't say I couldn't tell..." She clears her throat "I need a ripping good tale...or a treasure for House Fiona. Naturally, I'm going to try for both. "

"Hell yes!"

Siv tilts her head and smiles "I take it I'm out of your dog house?"

"Well, yeah."

"Good. Because I don't like when we're mad at each other" Siv gives Dagmar a hug "We're leaving ASAP I hear. Don't worry, I was conceived near Thyle. I know the area"

She seems utterly serious.

"Soon, yeah. You packed?"

" I am," She says "I was ready to move stuff over to Earth Runes. This was actually easier"

"Right. I'm glad the Baroness understood how important this is."

"I mean, it's Tove..."

"I told her that it was for family love, I think that's why she let me roll on it. I like Coradel, she's a good baroness... and her parties are mind blowing. She's a good person I think"

"Hmph." (Obvious - she let you go)

"Huff" smile ("SO Biased, but i like you anyway") then a cough into her hand "Sorry if I was ..snappish. Lots things blilndsiding me of late"

"Lot on your plate."

"Well, I'll try to handle it smoother. I'm not like Auntie Clem, she likes her food separated, veggies there, proteins there, starch over here.. me? It's gonna mix"

"Sure?"

"Sorry, tis a metaphor for ... love there, duty over there' and so on. " A smile "I asked her how it worked out, or even IF.. she just gave me a look"

"Duty is Love."

"I mean, that's how you show it, right?"

"I try" she says "Seems to come natural to you. So... I wanted you to know and be ready because we should get undersail soon. I texted your dad but he may not have seen it."

"He was sharpening things..."

"You dad does that a lot. " She observes "Blades, wood... is he worried about vampires?"

"Dunno. Never met one."

"Pray you don't, Sylvi did. Not fun."

"Yeah?"

"Apparently some creepy undead who was a stalker of the cheerleaders" A shudder

"Gross."

"Yeah, Twlight is bullshit"

"Totally"

Jaymes lumbers towards the door "Mmm? ("What's up?")

"Siv asked!"

"mm?" A look ("And?")

"The Narwhal is ready and so am I." Siv says "Sooner better than later."

A nod "Today then" He says a look to dagmar "Packed?"

"Packed."

"I'll call Vali. He'll be ready soon"

"Hmph" ('Soon')

And her dad goes off to make that call.

Siv says "Speaking of sharpening, Flyswatter up to specs? Will it cut? WIll it kEEL?"

"Oh yeah - I got a honing thing from Torrin..."

"Good"

"I bet the Narwhal can hop right up on Thyle..."

"It's magic allows that, but I'll still have to navigate to get it close enough to matter.... only a very few can mange that witout knowing, and longships have an easier time than a deep ship ...but nothing she and I can't manage" Siv says with confidence "Real threat will if we get hit by a dreamcross wind..."
