JOnas had shifted back but looks mad enough to let Dirk do it.

The gun cocks with a loud click. “Tell me why I shouldn’t anyways.”

Anne Marie says "no, that's enough. It's one thing in a fight, it is another to kill someone while they're helpless. Besides, I want to hand him over to the Chieftain or Count. "

A long moment... and then the gun slowly lowers, as he kicks the other weapon out of where the man could stoop to grab it.

...and then his free hand whips around, stabbing into the man’s lower abdomen and then slicing back with a jerk, with the business end of the scalpel.

“You’ll live.” He hisses. “But enjoy going in a bag from now on, shitbag.”

"SON OF A.." The guy cries out.

Anne Marie blinks "You've been studying your father's books"

“Don’t mess with a sluagh’s Mom.” He responds. And a... slight blush? “Just a laparoscopic tear to the lower bowel. With a dirty blade.” He smirks a bit at that.

"I'm... both appalled and impressed, " Anne Marie said.

Dirk says "Yeah, I bit the face off of THAT one" he points "First try"

Anne Marie says "you are both very deadly" Assuring them, "And I am proud of you and more deterined than ever to make sure neither of you goes to jail"

Symon collects a bit of blood from each of the downed and breathing opponents. If they’re not bleeding, he gets sone anyways, and takes their wallets as well to hand to Jonas, if he is upright in 2 legs by now.

Jonas takes them, "Good thinking" Then a look to Anne Marie "I think the boys and I all agree we need to get you to a freehold NOW"

Anne Marie fusses, "But this whole crime scene is a mess. Give me 10 minutes and I can clean it up lickity split"

Symon pockets the syringe and a few unspent tranq darts.

"I'll just eat the evidence," Dirk says "It's no trouble"

Meanwhile checking Ann Marie for any injuries other then superficial.

That nose might be broken instead of just busted "ow"

He hisses and casts a murderous glance at the doubles over form leaking from the belly. Then, lightly dabs at Ann Marie’s nose with a clean part of his sleeve to gently clear the blood.

"Mm okay I..." Anne Marie says as Dirk cleans up, as Jonas helps but also keeps an eye on the prisoner "Wait, are the three of you ignoring me?"

Dirk says "Looks like" A glance to Simon "She's gonna make it to the hold like this? She odesn't have like a bone bit going itno her brain or something?"

He is checking her pupils, and nods to Dirk. “I’d like a doctor or the Hearth to check her out, but I think she’s okay. Though a ride might not be a bad idea.”

"I'll be fine" A fuss

Jonas says "I think we're about to take someone's car" He pulls a key out of a wallet "I'll drive. Dirk, can you shove some folks into the locker? Including the corpse?"

"You're going to put me in with a dead man?" The leader whimpers

A cruel snicker. “You rather join him?”

"Shove his ass in the trunk, Dirk." Anne Marie says "Symon, remove the failsafe that keeps folks from being put in trunks.. most cars come with one I hear."

His jaw drops a little as Anne Marie swears. Recovering, “on it.” And crawls into the trunk to do just that.

And soon, with meat in the trunk...

they drive towards the Count's freehold which is closer.

Squished in the back between Dirk and Zane. Why does he always end up in the middle seat?

Zane says "When we get to the hold, I'm gonna throw up." Heroism he can do, but after awhile the realization he could have died will take its price

"You do it on me, I'll shove it back in" Dirk growls.

“I can tranq you if that helps.” Probably joking?

"He'd probably set the right dose, Zane. My son symon is a genius" A smile "And Dirk? "

Dirk winces "Please don't tell me you love me or anything seelie?"

and yet he looks like he might not..mind.

"Somethings don't need to be said," She says "No, you two were not seelie. You were nightmares of stealth and shadow, and of blood and rage. You were unforgiving, ruthless, and true terrors. You are my winter warriors"

Now he really IS blushing. Greenish.

About the color that Zane might be.

And they arrive at the hold.....

The thanes get ready to arrest the redcap and sluagh that clearly tortured the boggan..until Anne Marie assures the Thanes NO "They rescued me. Now can I have a healer?"

“And a sick bag.”
