"Hell yes." Emphatically.

"I'm too antsy to even think about sleeping. Want to go for a poke around town? I don't know if Ice-Berg has much of a nightlife, but figured we could see what can be rustled up when the city is sleeping..."

"Sure! Hey, we have a car. Want to go.... uh.... to the City?"

A grin. "Sure!"

"Unless you have any other ideas of somewhere fun to check out while the world snoozes..."

Adam grins. "Actually, I do, but I feel like I should buy you dinner first....."

"I said someWHERE fun, not someONE fun!" She laughs and give him a playful smack on the arm. "But tell you what... find someplace interesting and I WILL let you check out something fun..." Reaching up to give him a nip on the collarbone - maybe she'd go for the neck, or the earlobe, if only she could reach.... before taking a teasing step back, grinning.

"Hey, there's an element of geography to what I said!" He protests. "Too cold for the water, except the hot springs, and we've been there. I bet you'd like something outside?"

"Outside can be exciting..."

" well, are you hungry? There all night diners. We could start there."

"Only for adventure." A grin, and she runs her the fingertips of one hand teasingly along one of his arms, tracing an abstract pattern with a fingernail, just lightly. "Did Nab want to join us? If you want, that is. The more can be the merrier... Unless you think three is a crowd."

"You two have fun" Nab waves, she was clearly eavesdropping. "I got plans."

The heat in his eyes is answer enough, but when the demoness he politely does not object.

" maybe next time, then, Nab?"

She gives Nabuni a wave and even blows the Demoness a kiss. "Enjoy the reply later, then!" A hint of a promise there.

"Maybe" Nabuni smiles and blows a kiss back. And she vanishes from view.

"Most places are closed.... we could sneak into a park. Or go 'cuffing' at a diner?" He grins. "Or the City."

"Oooh, a park sounds nice. I thought about the woods out here, but they're swarming with Trolls on Patrol. Not that I mind, of course- " She adds, "They keep it nice and safe... but somewhere a little more secluded might be fun."

"Yeah, ok. You want to bring anything along?" He gesture to the full stocked house behind him.

"You got your wallet on you?" And then she laughs at herself. "Now it sounds like I'm tryna hook a Sugar daddy."

Adam grins." You know I don't mind buying. It's just money!"

He checks to see if.... Yep, still in his pocket.

She slides a hand into his other pocket to give him a sneaky pinch on the rear, then dances out of reach, hooves nearly silent on the cold lawn turf. "So where's this park? Walking distance?"

" let's take my car." He suggests.

"Sounds like a plan." And shall accompany forthwith to the destination!

Parched, indeed, closed 30 minutes after Sunset. Adam Parks briefly to push the gate open then returns to drive . He leaves more to the gate behind.

And soon they are off...

..... Adam finds a tucked away parking spot and kills the engine. The ball courts are still lit, but the park is dark and mysterious. Pavilions hulk in the shadows. There's a playground, with swings and slides.

Changelings or natural dreamers have had their influence though there are no signs of either here currently. Bits of popular songs float around like a sample stream then fade again, pretty softly in their volume, but surprisingly clear to make out. The constellations frolic above forever out of reach.

Adam cracks the window to catch the songs, wonderingly.

"Woah...."

He lowers the window more, and leans his ear out to hear what's there, can catch the stars in his eyes.

"Oooh... now this is nice." She goes a step further to actually swing out the car door, taking a seat on the front hood and tilting her head, eyes closed - where Adam tries to catch the stars in her eyes, she listens, humming softly, along with the music. She reaches a hand towards Adam, an invitation to join her...

And oh, he accepts it. He hops onto the hood like Bo Duke, and rolls toward her.

"Hey."

She had leaned up against him, listening to the rhythm of his heart in his chest, her own breathing, and the background melody, hearing a tune come together... “Mm?”

He cuddles her close. "Thank you."

“Aw!” She sneaks a cold hand under him to warm it up, but also a hug. “You drove, so thank you! And I hauled you out of bed... just cuz it was a nice night and I was bored.”

He grunts, manly, at the cold touch.... but is very happy to be on the hood with her.

"Nah." He pulls her close if she lets. "I was thinking of you."

She does! It’s a warm night for winter, but still WINTER. A grin, and teases, “are you always thinking of me at night in bed? If you’re not, I’ll work harder.”

He smiles, close by her. "Yes. I think of you, always. Uh."

"Does that mean you want... Just me?"

There is a long moment... a loooong moment. "What we've got going here, it's a good thing. ...is it not enough for you?" Not accusing, but... asking.

"No, this is good!"

"Do you mean that? Really? Because... hell, I DO like you Adam. I like you a lot! Enough that I don't want you to end up resenting me if you want more than I can give."

Adam seems almost puzzled. "Yeah. I mean it."

"Okay... I'm sorry. I might just be greedy, you know? I want my cake, and I want my cupcakes... and cookies... and maybe even a slice of quiche."

"mmm..." he purrs! "I like."
