The sidhe knight wanders through Bergen County, looking more like a hiker than a hero. To mortal eyes, he's an odd mix of rugged and slim, his garments denoting outdoorsman with a touch of aging hipster. Nothing impractical mind you . But the long hair in braids and the scruffy beard definitely stand out.

He runs his hand along the beard, perhaps realizing it needs shaping, but that's okay. His blue eyes are intense and clear. To fae eyes, they grow a touch lavender, and almost glow. There is something gentle in his mannerisms.

He leands on his walking staff, which changelings would recognize as a battle staff, and gazes down the neighborhood streets. It's greener here than he expected in Jersey, the neighborhoods are less suburbia and more scattered. "Someone has been working hard to keep it natural" He notices the sign nearby

"Make yourself useful," She adds "And bully this vagrant away"

The 'Vagrant' looks more amused than insulted by the old woman, and smiles kindly

"Hmmph."

"Hi," the man says "I'm Carter" Giving his mortal name out in the open like this.

She looks him over - her eyes are amber, like the falcon emblazoned at her shoulder. "Sam. You're new." The trolless offers out a hand.

He takes it, and for a sidhe, it's firm enough, but not so foolish as to try to match grips with a troll. "New to the area, yes. I didn't mean to upset the dear woman" An apologetic glance to the blistering Miss McGillicuddy

Sam rolls her eyes. "Everything upsets her. Walk with me?"

"Lead on, and thank you" He prepares to follow. Sam, up close, can definitely see that his walking stick is a fine quarter staff with silver shoding at the ends.

His armor seems light, there might be a chain shirt under his garment but it's a thin one .

Sam starts towards the lodge grounds - the long way, heading for the woods first. "So. What brings you here?"
