"Jeeze, come on, let's go....." He tries to herd mom away from McGillicuddy.

"Hey" Brenda says anger flaring at the old woman, "Lady, those kids do a lot for you, take sticks out of your yard, leaves and more... maybe you could try being a human being instead of a walking challenge to the patience of good folk! "

Even as her son tugs on her arm

"No no no no no, mom, come on, it's fine, let's go......"

"It's not fine, she's a miserable human being...."

"Humph as if you'd know human" McGillicudy says, "You're a freak too now."

"Oh I am going to shove a hoof so far up her ass..." But she does let her son pull her back, still Brenda calls out "Lady, if you'd get your head out of your dusty ass you'd realize most of your problems come from the lady in your mirror! No need to share that problem.." but she is carted back

"Ooo... I am so MAD with her.." Yup. Mom's feelings are definitely more on the surface now.

Her nostrils are flaring

"Yeah, but that's what she wants...." Trying to hustle mom away. ".... and it's weird that she could see what you are now, don't you think?"

"I.. oh, that.." A pause "That is weird" Mrs. Thomas agrees as she's hustled away

"Right, and she's done stuff like that before so let's get out of here....."

"Fine, goodness.. you know I'm not going to stop jogging just because she's a bully" But she's moving with him

"When did you -start- jogging?"

"I've jogged before, I just fell behind a bit" She says, then she admits "Mind you, since I became a satyress, I do have more energy to burn."

"Yeah, Zane said satyrs have a lot of energy." Then he smirks slightly.

She catches up on it, "Something funny?"

He coughs. "Uh, no, no. Nevermind. Ok, well.... you might ask the Chief what you should do about McGillicuddy."

"I have to get permission to tell someone off? Brekke didn't seem that unreasonable"

Adam shrugs, holding his hands up and out. "Just sayin', if she can see like she's Enchanted, when no one Enchanted her, might be a good idea to ask the Chief."

"I suppose," A brow, then "You certainly have managed to fit in with all this crazy changeling stuff"\

"I had a head start over you." A charming grin.

"Ha, well, yes," She says "I am proud you know, retroactively terrified, but proud." She admits.

"Aw, mom, nothing to be worried about!"

"Oh really? So you're going to tell me you couldn't die? Didn't get wounded? I hear things you know?" A sigh "And your father is no help. He just swells up with pride."

"Yeah, I got a little dinged up but they healed me with magic." Nonchalantly. "I'm not gonna -die-."

"Better not, or you're grounded. " She doesn't explain how she's gonna work that.

"Uh, yeah. Ok, sure, mom."

"So anything new today?"

"Yeah, some new knight showed up."

A pause. "Dagmar took him up to the Lodge to meet people."

"Well, the more the merrier, he's not a jerk is he?"

Adam shrugs. "He had a creepy vibe. Like.... he looked fine, but something about him....."

"Dag said he was from the same House as the Mountain here. That dude has the same vibe. Like, don't trust him."

"ooo" Frown, worried look "oh... the ..Lian house..or whatever. YEs, Franklyn seemed odd to your father too. But we'll, if Brekke vouches for him and we trust her then maybe it's not so bad? She's a House Gideon right?"

"Gwydion." He corrects.

"Gwydion, thanks" They are now back at his house.

"Now are you telling me not to trust this new knight, or Sir Franklyn?"

A shrug. "Just sayin' I don't know if -I- do. Up to you if you do or not."

"I suppose, but I am trying to trust my adventuresome son." She says.

The door opens, and Kyle Thomas steps out, "Brenda? Son. How goes?"

"Fine, dad."

Brenda reaches over, grabs her husband's shoulders to lift up a bit, and tears a kiss from Kyle, then drops "Oh doing okay dear. Just taking up jogging again. How goes here?"

"I bought a Beanie Dog for Lily, not sure she's into cute and fluffy anymore." He says "But she was polite about it."

"Yeah, slaugh are into gross and slimy." Adam grins.

"I'm learning that," Brenda says "But don't feel bad, honey."

"Well, guess I'll head upstairs. Got a little bit of time before work. See ya....."

"Okay, Son. " Kyle says.

"He's going to talk to that Chimera again" Brenda wrinkles her nose "Not sure she's a good influence. I mean, she looks like a demon."

"With horns and everything" Kyle says dead pan nodding.
