Adam pulls over to lounge on the rail, waiting for Jacques.

Jacques says "Ah, my american friend, Bonjour, I am grateful you brought me to ze skating rink"

"No worries, man, it's cool." He grins.

The girls notice that..suddenly whispering among themselves and yes, noticing 'Jacques' as they go by

"Ready for another lap?" He asks his buddy.

"The women here, they are so..vibrant, so lovelee" Jimmy says then lowers his voice "Suddenly I crave a cigarette and beret. Is that weird?"

"Keep it together."

"Right" And he moves on with his friend, they skate, trying to master that most prized of all teenge motions 'the indifferent swagger'

.........while on ice.

Adam seems to have some kind of advantage in this regard.

They slide along and come back up on the girls......

"Are you from Paris?" One girl asks, breaking first.

"Nah, New York." Adam grins; a wit.

"Non, no, though I have been to Paris of course, for I am French and all French have seen Pareee.. it is like our mecca" Jacques says

"You ladies met Jacques?" Adam asks innocently.

"No..." Conspiratorial looks from them

"Pardon, allow me to introduce myself I am Jacques , zis is my American Friend, Adaam... he told me that American girls were how you say, so full of energy, but I did not believe him. Now I see I was wrong" He claps a shoulder on Adam "You american fellows are lucky"

"We sure are." He smiles dazzlingly at the girls with Casey.

Casey laughs and blushes "What part of France are you from, Jacques? "

"Oh, I hail from a small town near Nice" He pronounces it nees "Have you ever been to the Côte d'Azur?"

"No.." Casey grins "No.. Dazur?"

"It means the waters are as blue as your eyes..." Jimmy states

"So... what are your names?" Adam helps himself to Casey's friends.

"I'm Beth" One girl says

"Liz" the other says

Adam grins. "Wait, are both of you Elizabeths?"

"Yeah" the Beth says

"We sorted it out" Liz answers

While Adam meets the Elizabeths...

Casey and Jacques talk... Now noticed, Jimmy seems to be holding his own.

"I love the way you did it!" Adam compliments them genuinely. "That's awesome!"

"Yeah?" "Really?"

"I think so." He nods. "You guys skate a lot here?"

"All the time, it's so fetch" Beth says a smirk on her face.

"Gah I hate when you say that word" Liz says

"You guys want to get some hot chocolate or something?"

Hot coco is agreed up and Jimmy ..er Jacques and Casey join them . Jimmy mouths 'got her number!'

Adam buys. He gives Jacques a casual 'Sup?' nod of acknowledgement.

idle chatter goes on when...suddenly

"Guys, we have to go, we're late for that meet with L.J." Casey says after looking at her notes

"LJ?"

"She's our Fourth" Liz says

"There can't be FOUR girls as nice as you guys in the area!" Adam is disbelieving.

"Shhh" Casey says "it was really nice meeting you all" And she begins to get the other girls going but does look at Jacques "Another time, Viscomte" A grin, and off they go

"You want us to walk you out to your car?" He offers.

"Oui, my american friend is right" Jimmy assures "It would be our pleasure"

"oh they are so sweet" Beth says

"We're good." Casey smiles "Hope to see you both again"

"Just that." Adam says sincerely. "But, ok."
