"Sounds like not everyone was in on the deal, then?" His breath puffs out. "Let's get back in the car."

"Yeah.. man, that was close. I thought she was going to find the magazines"

"Scared the shit out of me...." Adam gets back in. "Should we get out of here? Your place?"

"Yeah, sure... unless you wanna go to yours"

"Your folks are cooler. And I don't think you need to spend any time around my mom." Mock-glower. "But Nab is there... Up to you."

"Ha. Man, if Nab were right sized..."

A pause "Dude..look through your magazine.. I got a theory. I bet she's in there"

"Dude, when the dragon died? For just a hot minute, and I mean a HOT minute.... she -was- right sized...." Adam flicks through to see if.....

Oh shit, there she is, rising out of the waves, human sized, the water STEAMING off her she-devil body

"Oh YEAH." He shares with Zane.

"Well, that's going into my dreams tonight... is she pulling at her bikini straps like they're restraining her? Oh god she is."

"Dude, you ever get a chance to let her take a ride, you take it. Trust me."

"Possession? Wow..for her it might nto be creepy"

"I let her."

"Huh not sure she'd get as much from me... Dreamers can add omph that dreams can't always"

"Yeah, but you might like it."

"Maybe I'll give it a shot. Let's get to my house"

Adam nods, motions Zane to put the mag in the glove compartment, and they get going. Masks go in the backseat. After a few minutes. "A and Z, highwaymen." He grins, then laughs. "WOO! What a rush. Good deal, Zane, thanks."

"Ha! Yeah, like I said, the troll girls would never let us get away with that"

"Well, maybe Siv, she's got a bit of pirate in her"

Adam chuckles. "Maybe."

He pulls up at the Wayburtons.

They step out, and Zane smuggles the many blank magazines in along with his own good one. "Mom dad, going to my room"

"Hi Professor and Mrs. Wayburton!" Adam calls.

"Hello, boys" The professor says but doesnt' look up from his book.

"Hey, you two. Need snacks?" Mrs. Wayburton says from the kitchen

"Not for me, Mrs. W."

"Thank you."

"THanks mom, we're good. " Already up the stairs with the mags.

A faint sound of light music playing from behind a closed door. Piper is home, but apparently practicing. NORMALLY- no pan. ;)

"Oh, Piper's here. Huh." Zane says going to his room

Adam stutters his step. "She huh?"

Adam looks at the closed door in an agony of indecision, then sighs and shuffles off after Zane.

"Dude... " Zane grins "Sometimes I think you should have been a satyr"

Zane's room is half mess, half organization... laid back.

There's a beanbag

"Look, after the last couple days maybe we cut me some slack? I didn't knock. Gonna give it that week." A sigh.

"I hear you, and sorry. Sides, not like we didn't have these mags to rev things up, but this was a great day over all"

"Yeah, you're not wrong. Even with everything else..... that was a blast."

"Dude, when she whirled that staff, and you had yours... it was like.. martial arts time"

Adam finds somewhere safe-looking to sit.

Beanbag is clean. Spot on the chair near his desk is okay if you don't touch the desk

Adam takes the chair, avoids the desk.
