"Anne Marie, you all seem wonderful but I've got to tell you, I can't decide which of your kiths, if I may stereotype, are the bigger buttinskis, the trolls hover protectively like I'm some soap bubble or security risk, and here you are trying to do everything for me and every boggan I've met trips over themselves to assist too. I'm really quite capable."

Wynette the piskie came in as a grump, and she's not taking this 'unsained' stuff with complete grace.

Anne Marie says "it's true, it's in our nature, but has it occurred to you there might be a reason for that? Mmm?"

"I do appreciate all the baby sitting offers, Malcolm was always a handful, now he's just walking out of the house if I turn my back, but other than that I think I've got everything in... " She pauses noticing the boggan still working away on her Desktop and decides to test her listening skills, "everything in hand, except for the sluagh in cupboard who spits green flame from his eyes."

"Well, I know it's not Symon but if you set out some tea whoever it is might come to the table and act civilized, they're a very proper kith at times, not that Symon would admit that side," Anne Marie presses print

"What are you doing?" The mother of one says to the Step mother of Symon

"Butting in," Anne Marie hands over the now printed paper.

"I can do finances and..." A blink, "Wait, what's this" Wynette sorts through "Did you just reduce my house payments?"

"No, you have to sign it first." Anne Marie says, "But then? yes. It's all perfectly legal. I know you can do finances, but I also know loopholes in family law that can help finances you might not know of. mmm?" She beams

Wynette gapes, "How come more people don't know about this?"

"Because the state is scared to death they'll use it en masse, or get abused. So what happens is the folks who really need it don't hear about it, and the ones who would abuse it, well, they catch on quick anyway since they are LOOKING for loopholes"

"Now I see why the EPA is so underfunded," A frustrrated look on Wynette.

"Well, if you don't want it," The boggan holds out a hand

"No no, I'm good... I'm good. Thank you," Wynette says with a blush "I should go read through this at home and sign it and bring it back to you later."

"That's fine," The boggan beams, then "could perhaps return that little figurine before you go? Symon works hard on them"

"oh what?" The piskie searches her own pockets and sighs "This is mortifying. I am so sorry."

PUllilng out the figurine of the Umberhulk (Whatever that is) she sets it down near the woman "I don't even realize I'm doing it."

"not consciously, " Anne Marie says with a smile "It's okay."

Wynette sighs, then gets her purse "Thanks again" ANd heads out

Anne Marie waits till the woman leaves the door, then texts Frank and Kerri to let them know how things are going with the new fledge. Oh my, and to think, normally I complain about wilders.
