"YEAH!" Adam shoots the car away, attackers dropping into the distance.

And they get away

"WOOHOOOO!!!!!"

"Zane, man, you ok? Not hurt?"

"No, but I maybe in love " A sigh "My god, did you see the... uhm.. warrior skills on her?"

"Was a brief bout of suffocation"

"LUCKY SON OF A BITCH!" Adam crows, and laughs. "Damn... what a way to go. If I'd known it was an option I'd have thrown myself at her."

"I'm not sure I planned it... part me, part her..well, two parts her, and moth to flame"

"I've never wanted to lose a fight so bad in my -LIFE-....."

"And then she would take us away for..interrogation. Yeah.. same thoughts" Wistful but jazzed "Thanks man, the trolls would never have helped me with that"

"Yeah. Interrogation. She probably would have had to tie us up, though. 'Cause it was 2 on 1." SIGH.

Another sigh of agreement

"And, hey, you're welcome. Any time. You got 'em, right?"

"Yup! A whole bundle! Anymore would be greedy . I also threw down a ten dollar bill...not what they're worth but it just felt right to try and normally they give em away for free. This year? It's in this barony. At last" Happy

He finds a quiet street and pulls over, parking. "Ok, how do we do this?"

"Okay.. " He hands him a magazine that looks.. rather blank and white save for a note to add glamour. "Take this dross, snap it against it.. and make sure your skin touches."

He does, watching intently.

Eyes shining with wonder, Adam turns the page.....

On the cover were eight sidhe women, Nadeen one of them, in scanty house color bikinis playing volleyball on the beach

"Oh, wow....." a reverent whisper.

The next page however, has Dagmar in a pose, hand on hip, strong, confident, and with a sultry confident smile

And his eyes go wide. "Man... she'd KILL someone if she saw this but.... I can totally see her like that." A sigh.

"Damn."

"Dude, 8 women on the front cover ? You'd hurt yourself" A grin though then "Wow, holy snot. She'd kill all right" A pause "But yeah, it's got a lot of her..."

"The pose and tude ..." He clarifies.

Adam nods. "I know."

One might notice marks along her arms, not unattractive any more, healed up, but a part of her.

Adam lingers wistfully.

Zane ponders "i'm gonna leave one where she can find it. Make it fair, you know?"

"Dude... I don't know. She's not into it, you know?"

"Well, maybe this will help? And if it doesn't we don't know so it's good. No shame on her."

Adam seems dubious.

The next page has Amaya, the Eshu kinian posing sexily with Emerald, the Clurichaun Kinain as they lean against each other on the shore

"Ooo... damn. Yeah. Hey, there gonna be another Gloaming? I mean, one I could go to?"

"Yeah sure... " He says still nosing "So these are the girls you wondered about. Makes sense. Honestly, we're lucky there's a limit on the number of we'd be lugging around the something the size of an old sears catalog"

Adam laughs. "Hey, I just really appreciate the ladies!"

Adam glances at Zane's cover.

Zane's cover has Nadeen on it rising out of the water, slick and wet with a sexy pout as she wears a black and gold bikini

"Oh MAN......"

"That's a freakin' work of art...."

"I know" A sigh "She's so cold and so hot and...I just want to light her up allll night"

"Brother, if you couldn't do it, No One could." A beat "But if I get a chance I'd like to try." Grin.

"One hand, I wanna warn you she could destroy you, on the other, man if you gotta go..." A grin back.

"Look, you had Nadeen AND the Bunny Berserker so.... yeah. Like a cat with 7 lives now, you are."

"Anyway." With a sigh looking back at his own magazine. "Nadeen wouldn't touch me with -your- 10 foot pole, so...." He flips the page.

As he looks at the next page of his own magazine, Adam sees an image of Piper sitting on the beach, legs under her, leaning forward slightly with a laugh
