"Whole lot better than I expected from her when she first got here," Sylvi allows. "Okay, gold done. Now a little liner, and then mascara.

"Yeah, me too."

"You think she's gonna quit high school?"

"She'd be stupid to. A lot of fae quit when they can't hack it because they don't have enough support, at least that's what Mom says. But we're all around to support each other, watch each other's backs. She shouldn't quit."

"And the Browns are good parents"

"Well, I don't know about that. I mean, Duke Tierone is a kid, right?"

"Quite, and there are childlings ruling a kingdom in Albion last I heard" Flopsy nods

"I wonder what kind of chaos goes on there." She finishes with mascara, then steps back. "Okay, tell me if you like."

"Oh, that's just right! Thanks..."

"My word, yes"

"Yeah, see...without the foundation, the gold wouldn't look like it belongs. It'd be tacky. But this works." She's pretty proud of the job.

"I should just trust you, you always do it right."

Sylvi smiles at Flopsy, and gives a curtsy.

"Oh, I don't mind you giving me boundaries. Otherwise, I might get carried away." She goes about cleaning up her tools. "Which would be okay for fun, but you wouldn't be comfortable actually wearing it anywhere."

"yes yes... now you both look wonderful, and it's almost time to go" Flopsy says "I don't want you late. Squire Colton will miss you while he waits "

"Right! Okay, I've got to get dressed...."

"Right! Okay, armor seems maybe too much. Good voile. Flyswatter. Maybe the gorget?"

"Yeah, I think that's a good mix. Maybe bracers, too."

She nods. "Cool. Yeah. See you in a bit?"

And the group breaks up to put on last touches and assemble.
