At the Barn, Dagmar is putting finishing touches on a hand-carved box - carefully oiling the wood and buffing it to a glossy shine.

Tove would be proud if she saw it. Dagmar's skills at crafts period have grown, and while she may not be as good as the chieftain or tove at wood working, she has become increasingly adept and is even developing her own style

Certainly not as good at those two, no - but Tove's influence is clear in style. And her own proclivities - clean joins and carefully mitered corners, time taken to sand away excess glue so the stain goes on evenly...

Her phone beeps a text at her but she knows better than to let it distract her until the craft is in a good spot to pause
