"That's who you are. And that's why I'm glad you were there, not me." He nods, earnest. "You get results. I just get ...even. That would have not been as good."

"Well, that has a place, too."

"I guess it's good for me to be around you saps. 'avengers' sounds cooler than 'Revengers'. Did we ever pick a name for our motley?"

"Teen Titans is taken."

"Rivervale Avengers or Avengers of the Vale both sound good, for the alliteration. But they might think we're a bunch of nerds." A smirk, proud of his nerdness.

"Defenders?"

"Also taken. Which of us is Jessica Jones?"

"Anything is better than the Paschett Polywogs, or whatever they call the footballers. Patriots? Pumas? That's a -shoe-. See, I can't even remember their name."

"Ok, Avenge, Defend, Revenge... Protect?"

"Protectors is kinda lame, though."

"Guardians... ugh,it's all so.... seelie." He says, half teasing.

"Guardians of the Galaxy ain't seelie."

"Maybe...well, what else do we do? I mean...we've had a lot of kinds of adventures. What else do we do besides...that stuff?" A pause. "Questers?"

"We're a motley for sure."

"...Squad?"

"Hmm." He rubs his chin. "There's always the time-honored tradition of picking something that sounds cool in Latin."

"True!"

"Legion of... uh..."

"The Lodge Squad?"

"The Kithvengers" Tove calls from a window

"To-ove!"

An inaudible snort, as he looks up from his phone where he was testing out different latin combinations on Foogle.

"Sorry..." Not A STRONG truth... "Snacks if you want me to bring some out"

"Hmm. I wonder."

Sylvi laughs. "Hey, Tove!" she waves.

"Rivervale Avengers in partial latin is "Vindices Rivervale."

"Snacks!"

"Maybe you're Snack Attack Pack" Tove says. There is a price to pay for snacks it seems.

"Then there's the Nordic tie in... hm. Protectors - Verndari, or vörn.. Defenders... Verjandi... Avengers... well, hefndaraðili doesn't really roll off the tongue."

"The...The Vindicators?"

"No, that's..." He stops, and blinks, thoughtful. "Hm."

"Verndari sounds cool..."

"Try Varangian Guard if you want to go historical" Tove says bringing out snacks, mostly little itty bitty hotdogs.. but there's a section in green where they look a.. pickled.

"Vale Vindicators?"

"I like both of those." He nods. "Especially because Vindicator can mean like a champion, but also it can be, like, vindictive." A sly grin, as he pokes interestedly at the wrinkled nugget.

Sylvi giggles briefly. "The Vale-dictorians?"

Tove chuckles at that

"That ones as bad as this sausage." He says, as he gums at it with relish.

"But yeah...Vindicators is...it's kinda good, isn't it?"

"Sounds more DC than Marvel."

"Not bad, but, you know?"

Pickled, rubbery, and yet it will break apart if pressed. Like a boneless finger...

"Batman-ish"

"Verndari Vindicators? Like, we protect, but ALSO vindicate..." A squishy noise from the snack.

The regular little dogs are quite tasty and do not.. ah.. make those noises

"That is a LOT of syllables."

"Hmm. Somebody'll shorten it the V.V.s and then that's...not impressive."
