She gets panicked by news SOMETHING is going on with mom and dad, they could be gone for a while. It sounds bad. And then what happens? Mom trots in wearing a chainmail bikini

Kerri may have made a quick escape to the bedroom to change into something more Mom-like, but that doesn't stop Sylvi from cornering her Dad. "What the heck, Dad?!"

"What?" he says

"What do you mean, what?!" Sylvi stares after where Kerri went. "What is Mom wearing?!"

"Looks to be made of some light weight but durable chimerical metal" he says

"It's a chainmail bikini! Princess Leia wore more!"

"But not nearly as well" Olgar says proudly.

"DA-AD!"

Colton is just quietly sipping his drink pretending he saw nothing.

Inward he's thinking Okay. If Genetics works. Sylvi is going to be a MILF

"Look, Sylvi, we didn't know your boyfriend would be here. What do you want?" Olgar says

Olgar lowers his voice "Look, your mom had a rough spat, it lead to some.. stuff that could have been a lot worse. But it worked out. In fact," A smile "Your mom got a dragonslayer arrow"

"She...she what?" Agog, stunned. "That's...that's amazing!" From mortified to amazed in five seconds.

"yup." Olgar says "She is." Proud, "your mom .well, I leave the whole story for her, but she overcame a challenge, a trial of sorts and when asked if she wanted a prize, a dragon slaying item was her first thought. Your mom is a true hearth in every way. "

Okay, that proud smile is contagious, and Colton can definitely see a similarity in father's and daughter's expressions. "Well, like anybody ever doubted that. But still...she can't wear that get-up in the kitchen." She snickers.

"Good luck telling your mom what to do." A smile "Where do you think YOU get it from?"

"Think you might've had something to do with that, too, Dad." She gives him a hug. "Glad you're back."

A hug back, and he whispers "Your mom might need some attagirls okay? She had a rough time. I'll tell you more later when you're older or if she's good with it. "

A concerned look, but she doesn't ask for details now while Colton's there. She just nods. "Okay."

Colton says "Dragon slaying arrow?" THAT got his attention.

"You betterbelieve it" Olgar says "Secuse me" and he goes after his wife.

Sylvi watches her dad go, then turns to Colton, eyes wide. "My mom is, apparently, a badass."

"Wow, sure sounds like it" Colton says, then when Olgar is gone "Come on... sounds like your folk deserve some private time. Want to watch the stars? See if they do tricks?"

She smiles. "They might dance for us."

"They might" he smiles and leads her out. "Or we can dance for them..." A soft squeeze of her hand with his and...

they're gone.
