So Adam has a date.

Not NOW , of course, but hey.

Nab is curious at his good mood

He is, indeed, upbeat. More So than he was, at least.

"So..what's the story? You're your old self again!" She smiles "That's a good thing"

A casual shrug. "Gonna try dating, see how it goes."

"Well, who is the lucky girl? Or girls?" a pause 'or guys. I don't judge"

"Not really into guys. Nah, it's Sam."

"Oh! Sam seems nice" Nab says "She's the one who has thighs that could crack a man's skull like a robin's egg right?"

"God, I hope so....." ferverently.

A grin

"Hey, just to let you know, seen some odd chimera about. Nothing HERE in the house mind you, but outside it."

A frown. "Yeah?" He reaches for his stick.

"Nothing dangerous I Don't think.. but like some ..raccoon Raven thing? and a .. I think a pigeon rat."

"They keep getting into the trash"

"Oh, I think I saw one of those once." He relaxes slightly.

"Yeah well, they're freaky ugly weird" She sniffs.

"I'll keep an eye put for 'em."

"my hero" She hugs her firm yet soft in all the right places body against his forearm "Thanks!"

"Jeeze, Nab...." he mutters.

"Sorry, can't quite stop being the hawtness." A grin, then she pauses, "Okay..that's... interesting."

She's looking around as if sensing something.

"Interesting?"

"Uhm someone else is lusting either in or near the house. " She sniffs the air. "Nope, not your mom or dad." He tries not to think of that. "But definitely lust. Must be on the street, real close."

"You can... -smell- that??"

"Well..." A chuckle "more than one sense... it can also feel like.. well, heat off a hot sidewalk in summer ... but smell often comes first. Your lust smells like Potpourri..bit heavy on the mugwort"

Blink. "That's.... disturbing, Nab."

"No, disturbing would be telling you what your parents' lust smells are." She says "See how much I've improved?"

"Oh Nab...." A groan "Brain bleach!"

"Anyway, this lust is a kithain's lust... and.. oh it's fading"

"Kithain?" Adam perks up with a grin and goes to check the view from the window.

In the distance, he sees a satyr with his hand on the small of an enchanted girl's back. Hard to make out who the satyr is, or the girl from here.

"Hey Nab? Is it cool it this satyr maybe enchanted this girl? Wasn't there something about how they get glamour?"

"Well, uhm.. first understand what you're talking to... but in truth there are ways taht are against the rules . Remember what you were told 'right to dream'... that's the closest thing to mortal protection... I could find out more about the situation but I'll have to get closer. Could be he's just seducing her."

"Yeah? Think we should?"

"I don't know, no one likes other guys horning in..but then again if you've got a bad feeling about this- well, then you'd feel bad if something bad DId happen and you found out a bout it later. " Nab ponders "I mean, aall I DO is hitch rides and make suggestions and you AND that prude Sylvi were freaking about that"

"Possession is different, Nab." Firmly. "C'mon, we'll just go by casual-like."

"Sure sure, just a chimera and her dreamer out for a walk" Nabuni says wryly and they walk out

"Am I a dreamer??" Some surprise.

"To me you are" She says as they go on out, and begin to walk at a 'faster' pace to catch up.

"You want a ride? -Not- in my ear, on my shoulder maybe?"

"Sure sure.." A hop up and they close. He recognizes the satyr. It's that Stripe guy who was at the Gloaming. The girl, he definitely recognizes. Amira, only she's not wearing a head scarf. or for that matter , anything like what she usually wears. TIGHT jeans and a one shoulder blouse that allows a look at cleavage. The girl has an easy strut he's never seen her walk with before.

"This is wrong, Nab. Go get help." Adam closes on the couple. "Hey!" A cheery grin and wave.

Nab says "But we don't even know.. Fine" And she goes off to get help.

"Hey, Adam" Amira waves happily. "have you met Stripe?"

"Yeah, hey. From the Gloaming, right?"

"Yeah , man. I remember you.. not the name though. New blood. What up?" Stripe says, and he looks annoyed a bit as Amira goes forward and gives Adam a warm hug

"Name's Adam. Hi, Amira." He returns he hug, enjoying the embrace but feeling a little off about it. "You look good."

"Thanks, Stripe took me shopping" She beams "Isnt' he nice? Feel the material. I'm not even wearing a bra under this thing and I can tell you it feels fantastic against my skin"
