"Cry me a river you tall girls.. short jokes are never ending..." Lupita says

"Sam? who'se with you?" From the kItchen Tove peeks out

"Hi, Tove!" Sylvi calls out.

"Lupe!"

"She's gonna borrow some towels!"

"So, hey, we can go grab stuff from my room, and then you can shower and change?"

"I'm going to go run interference...." Sylvi winks, then she heads into the kitchen, Flopsy following along. "Hey, Tove? Can I ask you about sound-effects in videos?"

"Thanks" Lupita says. "Hey, Mrs King."

And Lupita goes up with Sam slowly.

Sylvi comes into the heavenly smell of some sort of spicy pasta.. and Tove turns to see her, "Sure... sound is one thing I know about"

"Okay, this is old but it's small?" T-shirt, sweatpants, the smallest things she has to offer

"Works for me" Lupita says "Huh.. Man I hope May doesn't get too busty. MIght throw her game off."

"Wow, that smells amazing!" She claims a kitchen stool. "So...how do you decide when you're using the right amount of sound effects, not too many, not too few?"

"That depends on what you're going for... for me it's music so I don't want many if any at all to distract. Are you going for humorous or more to build tension?" Tove says

"I just hope May doesn't freak out..."

"She looks FINE."

"And thank you, " Tove says "You and Lupita are welcome to stay for dinner here if you like?" She continues to work on the food

"I guess...huh...I guess I kind of want a pattern to them? Like...my sounds, you know? Something intro, something funny for when I goof up, something building tension, and something for success. Does that make sense?"

"Yeah, some girls just panic about their bodies..." Lupita says "I blame the patriarchy but unfortunately I've got life 4 of them for brothers" WRy

"Oh, cool! I'll check with my mom."

"Sure does, and it's smart," Tove nods "You have to watch for copyrighted or trademarked sound effects these days. So personalizing serves more than one purpose"

"Sooooo....if I knew somebody who, maybe, makes sounds for a living....and would be willing to let me use some....and who would totally get credit on every video...."

"Well, we'll be there for her."

"Go, get clean. Come down and Tove'll feed you."

"Thanks" Lupita says then " I feel like i missed something.. but it's good" And Lupita goes to shower

Tove eyes Sylvi, "There's a bit of loki in your left eye, Sylvi Davidson.. JUST a bit, but noticable" A grin

Sylvi bites her lip, adorably. "Is that a yes?"

Dag tromps downstairs.

"Is... is it possible to just all of a sudden get MORE Mists?"

"Yes, that's a yes but I can't promise I'll have it right aw.." She turns to the sound of Sam "More mists?"

"Lupe seems to have forgotten she got healed right after she got healed?"

A very small arm pump as Tove agrees to help with sound, but then she listens.

"Well...that's good, though."

"Mmm Lupe isn't enchanted so it's possible.. healing is a pretty blatant cantrip..."

"But..."

"But she knew what I was, kind of. And knows that I know what she is. Or she did?"

"She might remember you're a changeling honey, but she may not remember Sylvii and I are..or Kerri so maybe she's ..sorting out and careful on who she says 'troll' in front of?" Tove says. The smells of the food waft spicy goodness.

"Also, Mom had to do that kinda suddenly, so maybe it's just sort of jumbled in her head."

"Right. So.. I mean, okay."

"I don't want things to get weird."

"Mmm...oh, let me text Mom and see if I can stay for dinner." She pulls out her phone.

"I understand. She's your friend.. and because she's..different, it's sort of safer to talk to her" Tove says

She nods. "Exactly."

"Sounds like she protected us from something nasty."

Then a nod to Sylvi, "SOunds good. Jaymes has the late shift so won't be eating with us"

"Will he be in by midnight?"
