"Great! Big, vast, considerable, immense." Fornax is stretching out his neck, shaking off the last of the dust.

Sigh. "I guess it's an improvement over 'Word!"

A claw scratches at his eyes, shaking his head to rid them of irritating dust.

"It's... it's a lot. " Art admires, and gently licks his thumb, and uses the pad to brush the little wyrm's face clean.

In response, Fornax blinks up at Art and peeps. Then, his neck turns, and head tilts - up at Thistle. Blink! Blink blink!

She squints, and gently wipes at his eyes.

"Hey! Peepers!"

As she speaks, his pupils contract, then widen again, as he moves his neck around, seeking to take in everything.

"Maybe he won't need a visor..."

Snerk!

Footsteps...

Art runs a hand carefully along the wyrm's back...

His wing-nubs are folded to his back - those are still small and flat, no more than the faintest trace of where strong webbing should grow.

"Still, little friend? No wings." Art comments.

"I fear we have been missed." Art says a bit guiltily.

Gwen's head shoves in "The hell guys? First time we got flickered out and there was an excuse... are you guys trying to shame our lieges or..." Then she blinks as she sees Fornax

Fornax blinks back as he sees Gwen.
"Shame. Guilt, dishonor, infamy, reproof!"

"Wait, what is... is that another bookwyrm?"

It's still Fornax, the misshapen wingspurs, the scales the color of fine fired clay, but now his bright purple eyes peer at Gwen.

"Oh my god, it IS Fornax" A grin "Hi, Fornax. Lovely eyes"

"Or a Thesaurus..."

"A Thesaurus?"

"Saurus, like a dinosaur."

"Lexicon, glossary, onomasticon." He peeps, then settles down, still being held in Thistle's hands, which are cupped in Art's hands.

"Oh no way I can keep that up. I'd get brain strain" she answers honestly

Fornax sneezes at Gwen, somehow looking offended.

"Sorry, Fornax" She says "My apologies" though she can't help but be amused.

He looks appeased... and sleepy.

"Well, he seems to have shot his wad. I'm guessing we're needed?" Draping the dragonet around Art's shoulders.

"Oh... uh, don't fall, now..."

"WHy don't you bring him with you, he might deserve some praise too. Looks like it's not just you two who are maturing in fae society." She nods "Bet Lizbet would love him"

"As long as she doesn't try to taxidermy him or anything morbid..." Art says, carefully holding him onto his shoulder with a hand.

She wraps Fornax's tail around Art's neck, for stability. "There we go."

"Oh, that works. I swear, his tail wasn't so long before."

"It wasn't. He grew!"

She considers the taxidermy problem "No promises" She motions them to follow

Art straightens up. "Well, I suppose we must." He starts to follow, then pauses, and offers Thistle his arm.

A gentle glow of pink on her cheeks, but she takes it.

They walk out to greet the Hold, together!

"About time we got out Saining celebration together, even if the start was a bit bumpy."

"Right!" He grins over to her. "As it should be."

"Exactly!"

Gladiola enters first "Ladies and Gentlemen, Nobles and Good folk all, I give to you, Sained and Returned, Tested and Triumphant, Bes Din Certified Thistlethwaite Saltpeter Fulcanelli, and the Squire Arcturus Sol-Eltanin ap Beaumayn!
