Sir Raziel is seated in a chair, a touch nervously. The cake, which looks delicious, is untouched, though the man likely was hungry by this time, the afternoon whiled away by socializing - for others.

He quickly rises when they enter, and bows. "My Countess, my Lady."

"Sir Raziel, the Countess tells me you were never ordered to do what you did. For that reason, she was unable to shield you from my ruling" A brow lift. She wants this understood so he never goes 'rogue' even under suggestion, again, "However, she also advocated on your behalf for me to reduce the banishment. You understand, I gave the Countess leave to aid, but I cannot have a knight strange to me, even one who is in good standing with her Excellency, violate my right of demense? Whisking my charges or even guests away to who knows where from the Haven I provided? It.will.not.Do."

His brows go up slightly and he looks to the Countess - who gives him an almost imperceptible nod. "If you wish to banish me from your demesne, that is your call, and your right." He bows to the Baroness. "While I will regret losing the freedom to enjoy the hospitality of Silverwolf for a year and a day, I accept your ruling, and will return to the county seat."

"It is good. However, as I said, the Countess has advocated heavily for you. Thus, I will grant an abeyance on this banishment so you may return to the party, on two conditions... one, if all three sent do not return alive, and intact, it will resume and possibly lengthen for you will have cost our hold beloved members who are like family to us. And the second condition is as we return, you apologize to me, to the guests, and to your Countess for your arrogant presumption and overstep however well intentioned. After that sincere, or at least sincere seeming apology, there will be no banishment, at least not until we know the fates of Dame Gladiola, Newly sianed Thistle, and our Ward Arthur. Is that acceptable to you, Sir Raziel?"

His lips purse quizzically at this caveat. "Lady Baroness, while I understand your worry for your charges, I do not quite see that it is fair to hang their safe return on my neck. The quest needed to be undertaken, and I endeavored to send them expediently on their way. I assure you, my only goal was to assist."

The Countess adds, "We can easily enough look into whether they have arrived safely, intact, and well. Shall I cast an omen for you? Once thusly assured, from thereon, their wellbeing must be their own care. One cannot blame a passenger plane, if travelers find themselves in trouble after a safe landing."

She ponders, "A tattle tale might be more assurance."

"A tattle-tale cantrip must target an object with which I would be at least passing familiar, or had previously ensorcelled in the past. To cast upon one of these three as a person... I would need, mmm."

"But, no." A touch of regret. "Dame Artemis would not share her true name, even if it might determine her fate."

A curious look at that, not dissapproving

Then she says "It is well she would not. Not even with me. Very well, Countess, if you could omen to make sure they are alive and safely landed I would appreciate the reassurance. I am concerned" She could ask Aiden to do so, and later might have him tattle tale, but this seems to be a chance to mend fences and seem reasonable both

The Countess nods. "And who shall I target? If you have something of theirs as a focus, that will assist, but I do believe I can manage without."

"Thistle made this for me" She pulls out a small knick knack on key chain, shaped like the sun, gold and orange

The Countess accepts it carefully, turning it over to examine. She politely does not point out the missing link that leaves the design ever so slightly off-balance at close scrutiny.

"Raziel." She holds a hand out to him, expectantly, and he immediately fetches her handbag, and provides for her a mirror that was within. For someone who was not 'following orders', he does seem very well trained to her beck and call.

Oh it's noted.

The casting is careful, precise, yet expert. The Countess doesn't use the same methods as the Baron for her casting, but everyone has their own ways about things. The important thing is that as the magic takes hold, the surface of the mirror starts to shimmer, and she graciously tilts it so that Nadeen may observe.

"Omens are tricky things. Sometimes they need interpreting, and are oft just clues, hints, not a full picture." Countess Elsinore says, as she waves a hand over the image, seeking to clear the fog that clouds the glass.

As it comes into focus, they can see a moving image, faded and sepia toned like an old photograph. A ship, battered, yet intact, sailing through calm waters. A bright star overhead guides them. Off in the distance, clouds gather, and the smallest flickers of lightning - a storm brews. But for now, onward they sail.

"Well, definitely on their way. Danger awaits, but it awaited anyway" She looks at the pattern and looks pleased by something just for a moment, then glances over at Sir Raziel. He has dodged a bullet, it seems "It would seems only a public apology to your countess and my hold is required then, Sir Raziel. I will ease the ...burden of their safety from you"

"Sir Raziel?" The Countess offers this trade.

He hesitates, but then nods. "If such is your desire, I will gladly sacrifice my pride, and provide a public apology." A silent conversation seems to pass between Countess and Knight.

"I do not mean to humiilate you, Sir Raziel, but the right of demense, as it stands, was broken. The Countess had my leave, you, however eager to assist, did not. " She is not lost on the communication going on

"Beg pardon." He sounds contrite. "I did not realize that my attempt to assist would be seen as a threat. Should it be posted, perhaps, that cantrips are disallowed for visitors?"

A brow at that, "You mean, People are allowed to flicker flash others under safe haven in the Countess hold without warning or allowance? I very much doubt they are"

The Countess says in a chiding tone to Raziel, "Clearly inappropriate. More than a matter of semantics."

A nod. "Shall we continue on to the apology and put this whole kerfuffle behind us?" The Countess suggests diplomatically.

"Please," She says to both, "Sir Raziel will apologize and I shall accept it graciously in like kind. Let us be off"

They head back to the Party!

Time has passed, of course, and the crowd has waned a bit. Some of the locals have head home, and Trina's mortal friends have also departed, with Bluebell along with the kids to make sure that they 'behave' until the enchantment wears off.

Diane and Nan are having probably one of the most interesting heart-to-hearts they've had in ages, and Janice is sitting with Greg, also talking, though a little less excited and animated than Nocker granddame and daughter.

Nadeen moves along and leads the Knight and the Countess into the limelight again

The Countess gestures slightly for the Baroness to feel free to make the address.

"Good people, Sir Raziel would like to address the court"

THen "Please, go ahead, Sir Raziel"

The smaller crowd goes quiet, except for some soft murmuring. The sluagh have left, it seems - snuck out while Nadeen was occupied.

Or not, either way. SHe moves to Aidens' side for the first time and takes his hand. She needs him to stand with her this time

The Knight steps forward, and lowers himself into a bow of obeisance. "It has been brought to my attention that my actions today have caused offense to our fine hosts, and your Baroness, the Lady Nadeen Dancingsnow. I have thusly violated the right of demesne through my arrogant presumption and gross overstep of casting without due permission. I beg your forgiveness, that I may not be banished from the hold of Silverwolf, ere I even get the first chance to appreciate it's wonders. I hope that in time I may regain the Barony's trust."

He straightens up, the knight showing every evidence of sincerity.

The Baron is surprised, but not displeased by Nadeen's approach, and holds her hand warmly.

There is an audible POP! Like a Soap bubble, in a cartoon.

"Your apology is most graciously accepted" She says kindly toned.

Glamour flickers, and Raziel raises his hands, open palmed. "It wasn't me, I swear it!"

She instead plays it as if she knew this "Of course not, Sir. And I know you had no ill intent"

There is a little golden glowing dot buzzing around his head.

"Citirne, what have you to report?" Said smoothly "As much as you can, my dear?" She holds out a hand

Citrine zips over to.. the dessert table, does a lap around that marvelous balloon.

"Ah" She glides there "Here, I see" She looks to see what it seeks. "is it one of the gifts?"

She is currently playing with a candy balloon... but then she straightens up and zips over to Nadeen!

CHIME! Little arms gesticulate as she has an entire high-pitched squeaky conversation, all in Never, to the Baroness.

There are arm waves, and splashy motions, and holding her nose, and... is she hopping like a skipped stone across one of the larger gift boxes?

Nadeen taps each gift in turn to see which is wanted

And tries to read the pattern

Her antics attract a few of the other nevers, who are starting to play a game of hopscotch.

She is distracted now.

Raziel is speaking to the Baroness in quietly excited tones. "...Spontaneous conveyance..."
