The rest of the party goes well. There is a slight snafu with Briar who gets into an argument with one of the guests and tries to intimidate them rather than play nice - it's not even clear what the original slight was, but Linnea notices in time and manages to break it up. She misses out on a bit of the party with Hewitt, but such can't be helped.

Marigold notices the tension between Nadeen and Aiden - both handling their social roles, though as if choreographed that their paths will not cross. The Baron is a bit more stiff than Nadeen who flows effortlessly through the social waters, and Aiden, who more treads in place, but they manage.

Sidney thanks Julius before they head out - "I was going to ask if I could get the number of that holder from River Vale, but I couldn't tell if your mechanic was giving me the Stinkeye, or if he just always had that expression." Julius considers, "Wudlig? No, he's dating a troll from River Vale, last I heard, but it's the Lord's son's sister... it's complicated. I don't think I can give out her number, but Goldfinch should be in the directories if you want to give her a call."

"I just might! Thanks for a party. It's been real." They give Julius a friendly kiss on the cheek and head out.

Bluebell is now giving Sidney the stinkeye.

Hewitt quite understands and makes polite converation with folks, thanking AIden and Nadeen for the invite.

"Bluebell" Dlorean sees the look "You've got Julius by the horns. Relax"

"Hmmph!" She says, with a bit of a flit to her tail. "I'll have him by more than that..." But she looks a little chagrined at being so obvious.

Lavender bumps her a bit with a hip "I hope I love a guy enough to be that nervous about being without him" A pause 'Or a girl"

Nadeen thanks the locals for coming "Thank you so much. We appreciate your support for Thistle. She really does love the town. and I'm glad it has people who care for her"

"Did you give up on featherbrain?" Bluebell asks, curiously.

A miserable look "No not exactly. I still d.." She lowers her voice" Date. But t he baron doesn't seem to like it. He warned me not to date a prodigal. I see his point but.. it feels like an Order? "

Eyes and ears go up. "Harr-rumph. Someone should give him a piece of their mind."

"pretty sure someone will" She says "But I'm not at the front of the line. " A Look "Just me or is the Baroness keeping at least 10 feet distance?"

Bluebell looks, and considers. "Social distancing for high society?"

The Countess is approaching Nadeen now.

"Your excellency" Nadeen curtsies

The Countess sees to it that they meander a little ways out of earshot from the others.

"I had a wonderful time, and must thank you again for the invitation. How do you feel about today's outcome? Pray, speak freely." Seemingly honestly curious.

"I feel it was... educational for many" She answers "I hope the lessons lead to better harmony in the future"

While the Countess can suspect, she cannot be sure

The Countess considers for a moment, but then shrugs, not picking up anything particular.

"I am sorry that dear Raz made such a poor impression. I hope that someday, you see fit to forgive his rash action. After all, he was very much looking forward to this saining. I had him spend all week preparing."

"As I said, much depends on the outcome for those I care for" then a pause "All though" She ponders, an idea comign to her

"Although?"

"Understand, I meant what I said about those three. They are dear to me each in their way" SHe says "I am their ruler and I look after each of my own. More, I am fond. So I do not bargain with their lives. However, I would also see them grow and prosper in this hold with it strong and respected. It is my hope that Arthur should be suitable for heir after his fior. However, if he is not" A look at her "Then the Baron and I should have time and choice of another option. Recognition of our choice in timing and selection would be appreciated."

She considers, then says, "You allowed me to interfere in your Demesnes today. The least I can offer in return is a bit of leeway. Let's see how Art returns to you - to us, and if you find him unsuitable, I will grant a surcease of requirement on that matter for..." She considers, "A month, before I make any further inquiry."

"A moon is hardly time enough to sift among diamonds, your excellency, not if you're checking for a lack of flaws." A pause "But... if one is given a year after the return, extra attention might be given to certain houses?"

“Two months, before I start providing suggestions?” She barters back, pleasantly.

"For two months I'll probably mostly think of Gwydions fondly, but my Dragon might rankle. SHall we make it a half year and I contemplate the color black?"

"Three months, and you must already be considering black, after all, it's in the insignia for all of your people, the Baron's and your own alike." She points out with a smile.

"Well, yes, all the best houses wear it" She concedes "A season then, three months after Arthur's Fior , after which you may press your case for a particular subject." SHe does not say it is a requirement

"Splendid. Enjoy your respite, and, oh, do try not to murder each other before the time is up. If you were to both perish without an heir apparent that would put me in quite the pickle."

"Please, I'm Varich. " Waving it off, "Death is a release. Not a punishment"

"A punishment for me, then." She smiles, wryly. "An uncontested hold is a dangerous thing."

"I assure you, anyone seeking to contest our hold will find how united Sun and Dragon truly are, your Excellency. Silverwolf prides itself on it's chosen symbol, and packs unify in the face of a threat"

"It surely will not come to that, for we'll get this little nitpicky issue of Issue taken care of forthwith. I really should collect Raziel now, as much as I am enjoying your hold's hospitality. He is quite jetlagged, you see, but I just cannot do without my handservant, and he is now rattled on top of that."

"I see" A nod "In the interest of our accomidation, I shall join you. I know the way to the house he is enjoying" A look back "Baron Aiden seems to have things well enough in hand"

"Oh? I would give him my regards as well. Unless he is otherwise occupied, then I can ask you to pass my message on?"

She glances to see if he is otherwise occupied

He is over by the drink table, pouring for Greg and Janice, personally filling their cups.

"I'm afraid he's tending some very important guests of ours" No insult meant, and indeed, she feels her ire ease to see how kindly he treats them

"Then I may leave a message with you, assuredly." She leans in, and presses a kiss to each of Nadeen's cheeks, left, then right. "Please tell my dear brother, for we are kin, the dragon and stars, that I hope he pays us a visit soon. Bold Heart has been too long without a visit from our wolfish Baron."
