Madern nods and starts to tinker with the cabinets "I can see why"

A veritable chef's paradise. Not filled with fancy contraptions, but quality, and comfort - the knives are well used but honed to sharpness, the pans tarnished on the outside but pristine on the inside. Stirring spoons burnished to a sheen from stirring a thousand sauces.

The potrack, pans dangling at Boggan height, is a SWING!

"Damn, this is... " He stops, then promptly washes his hands. He's not touching this stuff with dirty hands

"She's low on supplies, but this gear is amazing"

"Yeah, it's decent." A sniff. "Could use some improvement."

"Need to get some gadgets that'll help her hands. Arthritis is a bitch. I've been planning this peeler-slicer..."

"Yeah?" He says listening, but now finding what MIGHT be left. A bit of this, a bit of that.. he could maybe piece something together

Thistle knows where the first aid kit is, in case that Piskie DOES have any minor wounds showing. Of course she does, A) she's a Nocker and B) she hangs around with Artie...

She grumbles. "You're bleedin' on her counters. Sit down, Gilligan."

he's got some wounds, though unknown to him he's a lot better off than the other two were . Mostly scratches.. ."Okay yeah, we're in business. Sphagettho pasta I can do"

"Sec sec" He says and starts to assemble stuff , sphagethtios meant for younger kids, but also cheese

and pasta strips

"I ain't Briar, I don't want blood in my marinara. Sit!"

He sits

"Am I in amazonia? Lots of angry women here"

Thistle attacks him with an alcohol wipe. "What? Nah, Danica's always like that."

"Serious Bizness being a thane, right?"

It STINGS!

"YEah I guess. Normally OWW"

"Hold still!" She scrubs off the blood.

"what are you using a brillo pad?"

A little silly, a Never still bright and without hue, perches on his head and admires his silvery hair. Chime?

His hair actually shifts a bit, highlights matching the Never's color

"yes, yes, you match."

"I need to get the blood off so I can see where to bandage you. Duh."

The never was a little more gold, and now so is his hair, and it is now being braided by tiny hands.

"It's a good thing you're cute" He mutters

"I feel like I'm being peeled"

the cuts are shallow, fortunately. Cleaning them out is probably wise. Bandages too

Citron zips up and flies close to examine Madern, so close that he feels like he has to cross his eyes to try to see her. Before he can focus, she's gone again!

"I know what I'm doin'. You want coddled, you need Bluebell."

"Furk" he says, those spirals fading in a bit again "Fine "

"But hurry it up please? I'm starving and I got a chance to cook with some qualty goods"

"I'm goin', just a minute."

Bandages!

"Oh fine" He sighs

It's not as bad as that time Art got his finger stuck in the Bookbinder, at least. She'd TOLD him not to try to pry out a stuck book, but the idjit just doesn't listen sometimes.

"Okay, okay, that'll do. It ain't perfect..."

A clatter, one of the pots that Madern got out has the lid ajar, and what looks like a rotund magenta rodent - not a rat, it has a short furry tail, is snuffling at the pot contents. Where did THAT come from?

"Thanks... I.. hey buckaroo, back off" He moves to the pot and guards it "No no no. No droppings in this"

He turns on the heat and gets to work

"That's a new one... Marigold won't like rodents in her kitchen."

It rolls off the counter onto the floor, and waddles over to sniff at Thistle's feet. Oh, the garden door is open.
