"I.. thank you, Baron," Lord Hume says "A leader with good people is lifted up by them, I'm learning, and I stand on fine shoulders. We're proud of our part."

They too are gifted with baskets of treats, and pups gathered before they can follow - this time, one having been enamoured with the doggy scents on Sir Sergei!

Sir Sergei strokes the pup, "Baron, Lord Hume is too kind to say, but I am to understand others have been rewarded for prompt action. Would it be safe to say I now have a..higher ranking in the pick?"

"While there are still obligations that were previously established and cannot be simply altered, I would say that perhaps we can take that into account, if a certain dog might appeal." He allows.

"Laika has flourished under your care, and I look forward to seeing more of your kennels."

He bows , then says "I am ready, Lord Hume, Do forgive my delay"

"you love dogs like I love computers. I think I understtand" Lord Hume says "But now it's time to go" A breah ad mutter "And hope the baroness doesn't kill me"

"Oh, she will surely feed you to the lions!" Says a keen-eared Bluebell with a serene smile.

"Well, Vince can be gentle" He says and off tthey go

Nadeen smiles even as crowds thin, and says "Come love, they're about to renew our flame. "

He takes her hand in his. "A blizzard could not keep me away."

"Dragonfire keeeps me warm, and the Winter Sun, you I hope" And she guides him off to watch Silverwolf's flame renew so it maybe bursting for Imbolc

And Gladiola pets Ivan "We did it, boy. We werre big damn heroes!"

Ivan barks, which in dog, at least this time means 'Ain't we just?'

Each of the dogs makes sure to visit with Gladiola before they leave. They are all loyal and happy with their new homes, but they still remember fondly the troll that they knew as pups!
