Sylvi splutters on a mouthful of melted snow and ice and tries to pull her hair back out of her face. "Dad? Dad?!"

"One trod. that dragon better remember his part in this" Olgar groans

"Dad!" She blunders her way over to him.

Buck looks arounnd "Hey girl, " Pattingg a dog, and NOt a russian bear dog

Olgar is wounded, hurt, but smiles to hug his kid "Hey, rugmonster"

a cough and a bruised Gladiola looks over "Rugmonster?"

She may never complain about nocker nicknames aggain

All around, the winter storm has let up

"Geez, hang on..." She casts around, and scoops up a handful of snow, shivering as she tries to get it to melt in her hands.

A brief pout at Gladiola, but she's got priorities right now.

SEVEN Ovcharkas is a LOT of fluff, and they all are swarming over Gladiola at the moment!

Then she realizes.... "Wait..." She puts her hands on the snow that everybody is sitting on and in, and she starts to sing, "Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens, brown paper packages tied up with strings, these are a few of my favorite things...."

Gathering glamour to cast Well of Life on everybody, to heal up as much of their wounds as she can.

Gladiola pats them, "Good.. good doggs" Weakly

Of course, it'll work even better if it turns into a sing-along.

Piper, even with her teeth chattering as she realizes her clothing was left behind in the Dreaming, joins in!

And the snow they're in melts and heals and soothes!

As the snow melts, crocuses and snowdrops and daffodils spring up underfoot. They will not last, it IS still winter... well, maybe a few of them will persist, those closest to the new trod!

Everyone touching the snow... and that is everyone right now, feels refreshed, rejuvenated!

Some go from grievously injured to moderately bruised, but everyone feels the benefit

"Nice..healingg" Gladiola says "Hey, HEY, We're really close. The hold, it's his way, please, everyone, follow me"

Buck takes off a coat and drops it on Piper "Here"

Sylvi takes a deep breath...and then she looks around quickly, doing a headcount of the firebrands.

"Did I smell SPRING?" A lovely rabbit pooka is gesturing them all onward, "Come, come and be welcome! Even those who must not tarry, we will stuff you plump as poor Tom Turkey before you are booted on your way, the flames must go on, but even Firebrands cannot say nay to Marigold. Come, come!"

Nearly a dozen puppies tumble and cavort in her wake, adding to the chaos!

"Ah, Olgar?" Hasien says "Capn?"

A sour-faced nocker emerges. Her apron, and arms (and face) are smeared with.. mud?

"Rescue? " Olgar huffs "I don't need a rescue. "

They will find, at the end of a short walk, a WARM welcome awaiting them. Warned by the Bale, Nadeen has thrown wide the doors, and Marigold has been working tirelessly along with the help of Marseillus, feud set aside for a time.

The Winter Sun twinkles merrily, and the silver dragon puts aside pride, and all are welcomed within for food and drink and rest.

In fact, the Hold itself is warmer than any may imagine, as Marigold has cast Vesta's Blessing... a cantrip of Summer and comfort and warmth. All who rest within the Manor find that in this sanctified place, find that up to 5 points of WP and Glamour are restored... EACH!

Sylvi just...flops back into the snow for a moment before dragging herself to her feet. "Okay...that was a lot."

Warmth and glamour and NEW PEOPLE AND DOGS AND SHINY TORCHES!

Hand is offered to Sylvi, and Gwen says to the nocker "trod is open."

She takes the hand and gets to her feet. "It sure the heck is." And on the way to the hold, she makes sure to text Prissy and Colton, and MOM.

"...ain't that a hell of a thing? And it vomited trolls."

Aiden rushes over, and is... floored. "We asked for help... but this..." He is speechless.

"Exactly what it felt like," Sylvi agrees.

A dog that Aiden does not recogize wags at him

The coldest, stiffest, and most injured folk find that they have a puppy in their lap, even as Marigold presses hot spiced wine and fortified drinks on everyone. Not to KEEP, mind you, Silverwolf's hounds are not like party favors, but who turns down a warm puppy to pet for a time?

Lord Hume looks about "does this area have Wifi?"
