Aiden looks down at the mystery dog who has approached him, and swallows. "Pardon. Someone has... lost their dog." He kneels, offering her a hand, gentle. His eyes have gone soft... "Hello, you lovely beast."

Sylvi gives Nadeen a hug. She's still feeling a little dazed.

But the warm drink is good.

And puppy. Puppy is good.

"Oh, you like her, Baron?" Buck turns "I .. won her.. tried to get oe of hose chu si.. whatevers... but she was second place. Long story."

"A fine, fine dog. She reminds me of Fort, when he was young...." Aiden murmurs up to Buck. "You do well by her. Wolfhounds are rare to find."

Nadeen says "Rover Olgar... rest here , please. We are in your debt for a wonderfful trod"

Buck says "She's yours if you want her, Baron. I got papers and such, but she's too fancy for me. Heck, if Silverwolf supports the Farmhold, or even will encourage a mutttual non aggression pact for iself and otthes with it, I'll consider her bought and paid for"

Olgar grumbles and looks at his daughtter "Seriously ? you're sicing your old roomie on me?"

"Oh, now listenn, Kiddo... " But as Olgar and Sylvi arggue..err talk, Nadeen motions to Mariggold and the two are guided away to guest rooms wherre they can sleep after Olgar loses

"Guilty as charged baron, but I figure it's a price you won't really mind too much. Besides, I cann't care for puppies so if I keep her... Ah, not to be rude, but she'll likely get fixed"

Nadeenn smiles and kisses her lord's hand, then says "Buck, most dogs do fine fixed, but ..this one? She's... if her papers match her lines , it would be a ..."

And he smiles, as the deal is struck, the pup gathered into his arms.

Nearly full grown though it may be, she's still a pup to Aiden as he murmurs sweet things to her!

He nods to Hastien, and as eager as he is - he catches a stern look from Marigold.

"Yes, we must speak further. But for now, allow me to show you to rooms, though you needn't retire just yet. Know that you are welcome here - now, and consider the invitation open-ended, all who have come to the aid of Silverwolf's call."

And one by one, gguests who are remaining are shown rooms. though yes, some will remain chatty till later hours, ad some do go

Maybe it's the presence of all of the Firebrands, but the Manor, for once, has no trouble supplying rooms upon rooms for all of the guests, in halls that they didn't know they had, or that now seem to have always been there... Freeholds are funny that way.
