Oak leans into the ruffle

"Please tell Dagmar and Sylvi I think of them both"

"Of course, Baroness. That will please them, and I am certain the thought is mutual."

Clem rises "Right fine animals. Hope you enjoy the viddles our own Hearth brought"

"Oak," Brekke says, "bid farewell. Time to go."

Mischka gives Oak a friendly sniff over in farewell.

Oak noses the pups, and moves to Miskha , and touches her nose too "They are strong, and clever, and fierce. Like their mother."

And tthen he turns to go, following Brekke

"Ah, and thank you for the loan of your previous fledge. He has been quite instrumental in assisting with our recent construction." Aiden adds, to Chieftain Clem.

CLem blinks then says "Well, you're... most welcome"

Brekke pets Oak and says something in Norwegian: "God far."

Then she straightens and bids farewell to the baron and baroness, as well as the kennelmaster. "Thank you again. We will speak soon."

Thane Linnea escorts them back to the trod - it's a bit of a ways, but they are offered either a ride, or loan of horses, whichever suits them. Another sign of trust - apparently not just anyone is allowed to ride the lord's mounts unsupervised.

Gwen gives a troll salute to both Chiefs

The offer of horses is accepted by Brekke if Clem is also willing.

CLem is.. and off they go. Clem looks perplexed but otherwise

They have Fresian horses, easily sized to carry Troll!

Aiden watches them go, then looks to his Baroness once they have gone.

"I believe that went well."

Nadeen nods "I believe so. They seem intrigued by making this project more than a lark"

"Do you know what it was that the Baroness said in parting?" Aiden asks, having not been willing earlier to admit his lack of knowledge of Norwegian.

"I don't speak Norweigan, but my guess would be 'Good dog'" Nadeen says "Oak was very well behaved"

Gladiola nods "I thought he'd be spoiled but they clearly gave him ggood training along wih a lot of love. Heck, Mishka seemed to like the pale goof"

Mischka sneezes.

Males. Hmmmph! Come and go. Though, she cannot hide her tail wag.

"Oh, quite right, Mischka, never let them take your affection for granted" Nadeen approves then winks at Aiden

"Never." He vows in return, starting to help wrangle up the puppies.

Gwen moves to tend them and help "My lord, it's getting harder and hard to not name them"

"Nadeen, love, I believe you had some names in mind? I will check our notes. Proper, noble names for Mountain Dogs. We can at least give them their registry names."

A smile "Merely suggestions, Middle Earth Mountains were the inspiration" but Nadeen seems touched he remembered

"And a fine suggestion it was."

"Oh that would be nice" Gwen says, and makes a note if any of the pups seem to miss their father. Unlikely. He only visited

Right now, one of them is trying his best to tug the tablecloth down off the side table. He doesn't weight enough to do more than wiggle the glasses, though.

"MMmph" She gently scoops that one up, and taps his nose to get him to let go

A tiny sneeze, and he looks confused - did that sound come from HIM?

"Yup. THat was you. One day you'll bark loud, or snarl furiously, or even howl. " Gwen snuggles him a bit, "Now let's get you back with your mom," She tturns and sees a Glen helping "Thanks, Dote"

"Warf!" The nanny-minded Glen yips back, and herds the puppies.

Aiden chuckles. "They will soon be larger than her. Perhaps they shall remember her authority from now, and respect her even when dwarfed."

"Dote's a gem" Grateful still for her hiding the pups "They better rrespect her, she stepped up for them"

Nadeen inquires "I confess, the glennies have been a fine addition"

Muppet snorts. His muzzle is dusted with at least three different Never-tones.

"Muppett? What the heck ?" Gwen blinks "So help me, if you've gotten some sort of Never dust snorting habit, I'm putting you in doggie rehab"

The Mountain Fae pups put safely away, Gwen wipes at Muppet's muzzle

A bit of clay in some of his fur. He's been sneaking into the workshop again...

"Oh good grief. Does Thistle KNOW you're her dog?" Cleaning that too

Aiden is amused. "They choose who they may. I suppose Muppet must be removed from the listings."

A look from Gwen, grateful "Baron, I didn't want to press. You gave me Ivan and that is the world to me. " she loves her dog immensely "so I didn't wannt to ask another to be kept here.. but sincee you mentionn it, I think Muppet is good for Thistle, and vice versa. Also, of course, he'll make a fine stud when the time comes. "

"Granted, it may be that she does not wish a canine companion. The choice is her own, whatever Muppet might have in mind."

"Well, if she doesn't know a good dog when she sees one, her loss" A pat and she sends the terrier on his way, then whistles to Ivan "Come on, boy. you've been SO good today ... everyone getting love but you"

He gallops over and nearly slams into her legs.

He HAS been a good boy!
