Caesar has been dropped off by Thistle, who may or may not be there, and sat down in the parlor to wait.

Informed that there is a guest, of sorts, Aiden checks to see if his Baroness is in residence...

The baroness is found, wrapping presents, expertly . Patterns you know?

He spends a moment watching, amused, as she manages to line up the edges of the wrapping paper so that it looks like a solid, unbroken pattern, no beheaded reindeer HERE.

Indeed, she seems to get a special thrill tyranizing the wrapping paper into obeying her will, and, as she knew it would be, the results of her bow dictatorship are lovely, and just right.

Also, her bending over to tie it just so does show her form off to lovely display. She turns "Oh, Aiden, good thing I have your gift wrapped already"

"Are you a coffee guy or a tea guy? Marigold will want to know."

"...or cocoa, I suppose."

"I'd ask if I could unwrap it right now..." He says, appreciatively, "But it seems we have a guest? Some wrestling celebrity, Carolos?"

"Coffee's fine, thanks, Trina" Caesar says

"Caesar is here? Interesting.. he donated the magical toothpaste for the auction, you recall? And that belt for the big money investure" Nadeen smiles

"On it." The fledge bounces off to report this news to Marigold.

"Tha.. wow she's fast" the satyr observes

"I wonder what brings him here at Yule. Do he have relations in the area?"

"Right? Blink and you miss it." Thistle has coffee for Caesar - but also a tray prepared for the Baron and his Lady.

"Not that I know of," The Baroness ssays "I suppose we must ask him to find out"

"I was talking about you, Thistle," Caesar smiles "I'm used to boggans moving fast. But you've got hustle"

A shrug. "Ain't lazy."

"Nope, and thankn you, and thank Miss Marigold.. " A sip of coffee, "Tha'ts GOOD"

"Course it is. Silverwolf has great food."

"Oh you should try some of my mom's cooking. She's a satyr like me, but she holds her own with any kith"

"Your mom's a satyr? What's that like? Easier, I bet..."

"HA. You kiddinng? I love mom, but satyr passions mixed with mom love leads to some amazing guilt trips and lectures. I didn't just 'let her down' when I did something stupid, no, I 'killed something inside of her, trust, and the hole there ached with sorrow and would be a long time if it ever came back'" he makes a just shoot me motion

"Now she did let me get away with more earlier.. but well.. we moved a lot. Was't easy"

"Is your dad a satyr, too?"

"I never knew him" He admits "Mom raised me on her own"

"Oh."

"Happens" he says "And despite my talk of mom's drama, she knocked herrself out providingg for me. It's why I pay her back now that I've got the means."

"Yeah. Moms are great," She leans back against the wall as she sits, and takes a sip of her coffee.

"Yours seemed cool," he nods "Kind of no nonsense, but not so much she doesn't have passions of her own"

"Mom's great. Sometimes not great at things. She's not always practical."

"I take care of her."

"Oh? Looking out for her? Good on you. " Serious "That's a lot of pressue a your age."

"She looks out for me, too!"

"But she's not good with... like, handy stuff."

"Ah, hence you working away at the washing machine"

"Exactly. I'm good at fixing things."

"No doubt" A smile "You founnd your craft yet?"

Her spirals dim. "Um."

"Nockers do fix things."

"Well, yeah," he says confused "But.. hey, if you haven't found your craft yet, it's okay. It comes to you over ime for some I hear"

"I mean, I don't wanna get boxed in." Defensively.

"Oh hey, I get that" he holds ou a hand in a peaceful sign "what your craft is should be something you love doing, that when you're done, you look at it and feel that pride"

A HUFF.

"Normally I'm so good with the youth dynamic" He says allowed "Seem to be annoying you. Sorry"

"You aren't." She scowls.

"uh huh" A bit doubtful, but lets itt slide "Okay. Change of subject. You want me to brag about my seven kids, or want me to grow a Never human sized?"

A snort. "No way."

"They would freak."

"Oh I could do it" A grinn "It's a cantrip called Go Ask Alice. I could make you as tall as a troll or as small as Never yourself"
