Diane the Fan clears her throat a little. "Well, I wouldn't exactly say everyone here is 'down and out'. Some of us just prefer to watch our funds. I could move somewhere a little nicer, but I'd rather save a few dollars against a rainy day." It's subtle, but her pride a little wounded.

She adds, "Then again, it WOULD be a blessing if we didn't have to fix every other amenity or appliance a couple times a year..." She admits.

"Oh hey, Diane," he says "Let me apologize. I meant down and out all over... lots of rent abuse in Missouri, New Jersey, and don't get me started about Cali... so if I sounded like the big hero sneering at your city, not my intent. Heck, I LIKE the feel of it, that's why I thought of trying it here"

"What's this about appliances?" He inquires

“The landlord here does the bare minimum, at that. The heaters crap out in the winter, the hot water is touch and go, and don't get me started on the washers and dryers. Which, by the way? Only two of each for a complex this size, and costing handfuls of quarters which often as not get eaten with no wash? I swear, if not for Trina I’d have gone insane.

That is to say, if you're looking to buy a place, honestly? This one isn't the greatest. Even if you're not living here. Maybe the landlord has to skimp on things to cover her own costs.,. Not that that is much solace in the winter when the shower is cold.”

A frown, "Diane, where is your place? Not asking for a room number mind you. Maybe I should look into this. I've been so caught up on reasonable rent options that I might have not considered stuff like cold showers in a New York winter"

“It’s called Whispering Woods, over on Oakton. The neighbors joke that the whispers are actually from the pests in the walls. Don’t get me wrong, I keep a clean home! So do my neighbors that I know. But when you cheap out on door seals and insulation and the like, well, things come in.”

A nod, "Thanks, Diane. It sounds like you deserve better."

She gives him a smile. "Well, you made my day today." Indicating the signed poster. "So, thank you! And you know... here's my number. If you do end up thinking about taking on Whispering Woods, I'm glad to give you a personal tour of the grounds, including what the the management company may not want you to see. Least I can do for a celebrity who has provided so much entertainment over the years, even if I never was able to make it to a match in person."

The older lady doesn't seem to be flirting, but genuinely a fan.

"Awesome" He smiles. he's not so vain as to think every woman who meets him wants him, "That could be quite helpful. As for a match? How about a trade for your guiding?" He reaches into a pocket "Any chance you can get to Rome on this date?" two tickets offered "For you and whoever"

"Oh, I'll MAKE it happen. Thank you!" She accepts the tickets eagerly!

"Just whoever you bring, don't let them cheer for Cyrus Virus..." Caesar grins naming one of his foes, the 'bad guy'

"Boooooo." She rolls her eyes a bit. "It's a deal."

"Tthanks. See you around I hope" A thumbs up, and off he goes. He plans to do a drive by Whispering Woods, but yes, he should take Diane's kind offer of a guided tour sometime before he alks to the land lord/lady

The complex is fairly standard for small towns. Several matching buildings, each with a number of units and a laundry room. The grounds could use better upkeep - even in the Winter, it's obvious that the bushes haven't been trimmed, the trees maintained for an attractive layout rather than scraggly results. Parking is available, but it's open to the elements - not even a covered rooftop to prevent cars from getting buried in snow. The posts are there, but one suspects that when the previous awning wore out, it was just removed rather than replaced.

Good bones, good location, but cheaply maintained.

Based on the rent being charged, it should be a bit better, by Cesar's knowledge of these things.

Bones can be rebuilt around if they're good. He kens a bit, there's probably not much chance of changelings or the like near it, or leaving signs if they are, bu t a lot of is appartments show favorritism towards Kithain and Kinain. Better to create havens of sorts.

There is a bit of a spark coming from one of the doors - Building 2's maintenance/laundry room.

Ice-Blue and Kelly-Green orbit the wrestler's head.

"Well, hello?" he says looking at the nevers, then glances down at the water. "That doesn't look good" the huge satyr opens the door

Oh yes, there's water on the floor - and suds. Quite a few Nevers are playing the the bubbles.

He can't see everything, as Trina is currently half INSIDE the washer - but the glamour is inescapable, as is the colorful riot of visible voile.

"You don't sound like the super, but y'AIN'T usin' this )(@(& right now. Jayzus, yer dirty socks can wait half an hour."

"Actually, I was ggoing to try to help. " He looks about for a bucket and mop

There is one, tucked in the utility corner.

Mumble-grumbles as Trina squirms out from the innards of the machine. "Unless you wanna get a machine from this millennium, I ain't sure if... holy SHITBALLS you're huge."

And he starts mopping up, then glances over. He might look familiar if she, or someone she knows is a wrestling fan. He IS huge indeed, satyrs don't come in troll size do they? Mmm maybe they do, "Clean thoughts and healthy living. Hi. I'm Caesar. Normally I'd think you werre a bit young to try repairs, but given the spirals, I'll keep my yap shut there. Can this be salvaged?"

Blink.

"The one and only, at least I hope I'm the one and only" a broad smile blooms

"...You're a satyr? Or... satyr-troll hybrid? Is that how it works?"

Chime? A few Nevers break away from bubbles to orbit Trina.

"Satyr" A laugh "Just a big one... nothing against trolls. Some make ME look average sized. You got a name?" He looks at the Nevers "Huh. Cute things"

"Uh.. I.. " She falters. "Katrina. Trina. Or... Thistle, for this." A gesture at her face.

"I don't have THAT name. I'm not... you're new, do I have to do something?"

"Oh, you're not sained yet. " realization "Sorry, Trina" he keeps mopping "Don't worry, I won'tt expect you to have all the answers. Hope you still don't mind a few questions though? And to answer yours, I don't think you have do annything. I'm just aotther Kithain like you. "
