A tilt of his head, "Baron and Baroness must be treating their people right if you're standing up for them this much. Good on them, whatever their houses. Sorry, I didn't realize nobles lived nearby at first. I met this mortal woman, Diane, I mentioned my realty interests being why I was in this part of New York, and she filled me in on this place. Easy to miss between the technicolor hair and vivid 'makeup' inherent to the kith... but yup.

"No one sees it" he says "It takes Nocker tech to capture a fae image, and given right of ignorance they're careful with it. And there are a few of us, but fame can be dangerous , draw banality OR wonder, so it's not for everyone. Some Wrestlers had fae blood, kinain you know? Like Andre the Giant? "Lots of wrestlers become actors, though. Did you know The Rock was a wrestler?"

"I did. " A smile "Fun movies, most of them. I could tease, but the best I ever did was a few commercials and some charity ads. Liked the latter morre than the former.. oh geez, that's right, I donated some surplus to a charity here, the tooth paste. " Memory sinks in "THAT's where I heard the name of the Baroness. I bought a few things at the 'rich guy' party, could't show up for the changeling one. OBviously the rich snob one wasn't at the hold"

"Ohhh, yeah. I went to the auction thing. I got the COOLEST gloves."

"I'm learning to use the forge. Willie - she's a farrier - has been showing me some stuff."

"Farrier? that's.. horse shoes?" He asks "I'm not up on smithing terms"

"Horse shoes and tack, yeah. Baron's got fifty-million-seven-hundred-sixty-three-thousand or so horses. Also, dogs."

"I like dogs. I've been on the DeBuke farm and seen some horses there, never road them." He says "So.. your mom said she'd give me a tour and show me the stuff that the landlord wouldn't want seen. Clearly the laundry room is one of them" he's been mopping through out this

"This is a regular occurrence, I do what I can."

"Sometimes, if it's acting up, I can just GLARE at it."

A nod "But you shouldn't have to. Huh. What else goes wrong around here?"

She harrumphs! Sained or not, nockers can pack a lot of information into a snort of derision.

"What AIN'T?"

"Let me show you!"

"Okaaay.." He says noting the truly impesive snort

And the satyr finds himself dragged about the complex - Thistle knows every quirk and annoyance of the building.

He frowns. Old pipes are one thing, but there are problems that don't need a full overhaul that are still being neglected. Door knobs that are too loose or too tight should be fixed in a few hours. Windows that stick? ditto.

"They act like they're cutting such a good deal, but all they do is slap paint over problems..."

Windows that won’t open all the way? Fixed by locking then shut and painting over the sills. Fine in the winter, but awful come summer…

"Yeah, I get that." He frowns. "Heck, I could fix some of these... annd I am no pro"
