Art sends her a Text. It didn't take him long to pick up / remember how to use the device, not once he realized how much knowledge is stored on the internet. Though there WAS a bit of a shock when he stumbled upon some of the 'other' that's out there. But that's neither here nor there.

TXT: Are you ill? Mrs. White says I am to bring you your homework, which does not seem like a good way to make one feel better, but it is apparently customary.

TXT: Needed air today. I will come by your place to get it after school.

TXT: where are you? I didn't know we could choose not to come. I will leave too. They are not teaching anything today of value

TXT: Stay there

Well, skipping seemed like a good idea this morning, but now she has second thoughts.

Too late to go in, so Trina kills the day by zipping around the backwood roads on Gertrude.

And she sees Dee, on horseback. "Hey, how goes it?"

She swallows an expletive. Or five.

"Hi Lavender."

Dee raises a brow "you owe me money or something? You gave a look like you were a mammoth and I was a tarpit" A chuckle "Whatever I did. I'm sorry. Just taking Snowthorn for a ride "

"Yeah..."

"Oh" Dee realizes, "You're supposed to be in school aren't you? Skipping huh? Ballsy" A grin

"Yeah. Wanted some furkin' air, y'know?"

"I hear you. Some days are just too damn nice to be locked up. "

"Right!"

the satyress seems totally understanding... "I was NOT a big student. Still arenn't" She nods

"Yeah. So... I guess you enjoy your ride, and I enjoy mine?"

"Oh sure." She nods "Were you hoping for alone time?"

She rubs the back of her neck. "Kinda? And you got the horse and all..."

"Hey, Snowthorn moves faster than he looks, but don't worry, my delicate ego can take it. You have fun. See you later at S.W."

"Uh, yeah. Cool."

"Go feel the air... I know I plan to!" A grin, and Snowthorn rears up , and kicks his front legs like he was in a western movie

And the satyress looks joyous

"Heh." She might not be as into horses as most of the crew, but that IS impressive.

And off Dee rides, yes, feeling the air

It seems like she CAN'T avoid the changelings. Skipping school did not help.

There's a scuffling sound just off the path nearby.
