It's like he's still there, winning over you, even when he's not there at all. I don't get it, I don't understand it, but I wish I could help. Just. .study HOW ... making a Kiln done, assembly is different from art right?"

"That's a good one" The nocker notes of the curse

"It'll go to waste here."

"That's right little lady, let it all out..." The older nocker seems to approve "Furkin drekky situation from what little I'm hearing"

Gwen looks at him "You're not helping"

"Ain't hurting as much as you think either" The nocker says. Even as she curses though, he is showing with is hands how ot arrange things

"I don't do this anymore."

"Do you need a mechanical fingers or something?" PIp asks "Yours look good to me"

She flushes, spirals an angry pink. "I'm no good."

"You've got friends who believe in you, folks who love you, must be something good about you" the matronly boggan says

"They don't furkin' see it, they're just sunshiney happy acting like it's not drek, cause they got no more taste than a chain-smoking trumper with covid..."

The troll mmms, "Then, what you make, 'drek' or no, still makes some happy. Is that not enough?"

"What I've been saying" Gwen starts to say to the elder nocker

"You have no lines in this play" The nocker snaps at Gwen, then looks at Thistle "Furk girl, building can be a glorious mess, and art doubly so."

"I'm not gonna just make bullshit and act like it's art..."

"Yeah, that's pissy work all right" The nocker laughs, then says "But at the same time, you're allowed to go outside the lines. It's craft, not crayola"

Even as the nocker taalks, his hands show what he's doing HOW to do it

PIp beams "Yup. Kodger says I work like a wounded faun with a broom up my ass but I keep smiling"

"Well, we could use another pair of hands" The boggan offers gently

"Suit yourself" Kodger says, and starts to join two pipes. He's.. doing it wrong.

She can tell he's doing it wrong. The heat flow won't flow through that
